Dude, your posts always make me chuckle... and think
how about Josh Holloway (Sawyer on LOST) for Dash? His LOST character has to have been totally influenced by Han Solo
Out of the the EU stories I followed, I actually liked SOTE. Thrawn trilogy started off OK then kinda stumbled all over itself
So bring on SOTE in whatever form we can get it!!

As cool as that may be... (and I'm a LOST fan too) the whole prospect of any further SOTE wafts a bit of Glade's 'Ain't Gonna Happen' Linen Scent.

Go back and watch Ralph Bakshi's LOTR. You may change your mind about what "a great idea" it would be. On the plus side, it does have Anthony Daniels as the voice of Legolas

I don't think they'd ever full on take SOE for cinematics or television. It's a book and its been elaborated into a comic series; thats probably all we're getting from it. Plus the actors have all moved on from SW...except Mark, you can tell he's just waiting to jump to become Luke once more.
However, I wouldn't mind seeing it done in animation, that'd be pretty cool. Aside from the tedious voice actors lucasarts always employs.
