When will StarWars.com make updates that don't suck? (TV related)

The last few months, every other StarWars.com "update" has consisted of insignificant and (mostly) uninteresting content. Most of their recent "updates" have been crap like "Check out the cool stormtrooper replicas!" [sic] and things like that.
Now some may say that there isn't much going on at this point, so the updates are naturally minor. But here's an idea for them: Why not hype up COMPLETE DVD releases of the Droids and Ewok animated series? How about a cleaned up DVD re-release of the Ewok films? They could include all kinds of behind the scenes bonus material and things like that. Why not take advantage of things like this? What's the hold up? Heck, they could even hype up a release of the holiday special since it's getting to be "that time of year". 
Does anyone know what the hold up is on such releases? Why aren't they giving these TV productions of the past the treatment they deserve? A lot of us have great nostalgia for these gems and would love to see them get the treatment they deserve. What was the deal in 2004? They released these bare-bones DVDs that edited a few episodes together of the Droids/Ewoks animated series into "animated films". I just don't get it. If they want these things to sell, they're going to have to appeal to the nostalgics like myself, and release a good quality product, and not these edited versions.

have you considered contacting LFL directly? They are more likely to give you a better answer than any of us here know.
I'd tone down the aggression in any potential email though

Not necessarily big things like that, but updates that are at least, you know... interesting. Not "StarWarsShop gets in latest shipments! Darth Vader USB hub!" 
Let me give you an example of the type of updates which I think are cool. They recently did a "look back" at the Shadows of the Empire multimedia project from 1996. And I'll give them credit for that update. But their lame updates greatly outnumber their cool ones.

Unfortunetly, we're kind of in a lull for new Star Wars stuff right now. The movies are over and the TV sereies is years away. They're not doing new super-cool updates becasue they don't have anything to say! I'm sure as more work is done for the TV series, we will get more updates.

I think what Kazan means is not necessarilty about upcoming stuff, but stuff with actual reader interest. Not What Jeremy Bullock bought to match his cuff links.

Sorry, but that is BS! They have plenty to tell us; they just don't want to. Don't forget, there is the CG Animated Clone Wars Series coming out next year. They have been working on the Animation for over a year and a half!!! yet they still refuse to show us the goods!!! Heck, I would be happy with just an occasional short interview with the show runner, or anybody involved with the Animation. Maybe an Image every now and then. I refuse to renew my Hyperspace membership until they give us real info on the upcoming Shows.

What amazes me is that so many obscure shows are getting the proper DVD treatment right now, yet the television productions from the most successful franchise ever are treated like crap. Does that make sense to you? Wouldn't you think that the television productions from the most successful franchise ever would hold more interest than, oh, He-Man.
And BTW, the public apparently liked the Ewok films, as both films got excellent ratings and were both nominated for Best Children's Programming in their respective years.

Hyperspace just wants its money.The Insider is dumb most of the times, and the updates are about things that I didn't pay for in the first place. Like webcam videos come on!!! I refuse to watch them ever again untill they show something of the series. The last video I liked on hyperspace was the force unleashed pre viz

Speaking of stupid updates, what happened to TFN over the last few years? It used to have great updates with insider news, etc. Now 99% of the updates are "New Sideshow Collectibles!" or "Check out the new item from Official Pix!".
