Sweet deal, man. Thanks for sharing!

Hopefully, the more people who know about the show, the more chance someone's going to start leaking the spoilers.

(Not like I'm pointing the figure at Randy, of course)

Sworn to secrecy on the new Animated Series?! No way! Lucas wouldn't want to keep this Show secret!(Sarcasm) rolling_eyes

They have been working on this show for over a year and a half(Animation and scripts), and they are just now getting together with Darkhorse Comics? I don't get it; the Showrunner should have been working with Darkhorse Comics from the beginning. I hope Lucas isn't pulling an Indy IV, throwing out what has been written, and starting over. confused rolling_eyes

I don't mind Quin, as long as they don't end every episode like they did with Republic comics.

"Will Quinlan really go to the Dark Side for good this time???"

Randy has posted a tiny update about his visit. While he couldn't go into details, he did say:

Having signed a number of NDAs (Non-Disclosure Agreements), all I can tell you is that the stuff I saw looks great, and that not only the quality of the material, but the content of it will blow fans away.

Personally, I think hearing about how awesome it will be while not getting anything at all from Lucasfilm makes the wait even worse. I mean they're supposed to have episodes finished already, right? I'm just very surprised we haven't seen character designs, concept art, or anything.

If Randy is singing its praises, then that's a good sign. Of all the licensees, I probably trust DHC the most right now, both content-wise and continuity-wise. thinking happy

Actually, the showrunners requested copies of all existing Clone Wars material at least as early as April/May 2005, according to Leland when I spoke to him at Celebration 3.

I think the implication here for Randy's trip is for coordinating DHC's efforts with what they're doing new, based on the existing content.

I don't really get why we can't learn a single thing about this. Even if they keep their promise to show a few clips a CIV, that'll be nearly 2 and a quarter years after they began the project. That's ridiculous. That's almost as long as the time between the movies, and we had plenty of leaks and spoilers for them.

Either they're just trying to keep everything quiet to show off to the people who can afford to go to CIV, or they're overhyping something that's nowhere near what they claim. Either way makes me a bit angry.

maybe they don't want anyone finding anything out about what's going on.
We knew everything about everything regarding the movies well before they were released - perhaps LFL is learning from their past experiences.
