Well you know star wars is based on the scifi serials so I'd look t those. Cliffhangers are a must.

Since we know Lucas is planning a 100 episode story I think we shall have a mix of several episode stories and self contained stories while all being part of the main 100 episode story.

That's a bit presumptuous...to assume his tv show will even reach 100 episodes. It might get axed by the network! IN tv the creator, writer, director have no control over whether the show goes on- its not like the movies.

Except that, like the movies, he will more than likely finance these himself, and if no network bites or if a network drops it, he can continue to at least put them on iTunes and then sell a dvd.

Not if he decides to go through somthing like HBO or Cinemax. It dosen't have to go the Sci-fi network with all those commercials.

Each episode probably won't be "To Be Continued..." as Lucas mentioned that each one will be about a different character.

It would be kinda funny if they ended each episode like that at a cliff hanger, then went to a completely different character's story the next time without ever mentioning what happened to the first one.

it has to be that way, sorta the way of doing a recap without taking too much time
as for the ending, 24 sounds viable, but think of it more like Buck Rogers serial,s which was the original inspiration of Star wars,, so i imagine it'll be like that

I think that each of the SW TV episode will probaly end with a cliffhanger to keep the viewers wanting more.
I remember Lucas mentioning that he loves cliffhangers

I think they should be normal episodes like any other tv series the only difference being...
The first episode of each season starts with the crawl and space shot and the final episode of each season ends with a very powerful lingering shot/scene.
