why?
I've never understood the attraction of a "cheap pop" cameo. Typically they only get done to attract viewers rather than actually contribute anything to the plot (a la Riker's cameo in ST:Voyager). I'd prefer to build new characters and be drawn to watching their story, rather than have their efforts cheapened by a major character popping up.
I can just see the cheese-o-meter rising as at the end of the episode Ben says "you'll need to excuse me, there's a young boy I need to go and check up on".

unfortunately we don't know Boba will be in the show for sure. It could just be a marketing gimick.
And Malkie. Maybe you would find it cheesy and cringeworthy to have Ben say something like that, but to me that's what being a fanboy is all about. I for one truly hope ewan does appear because i am a big fan of his and of Obi Wan. Thats why mate.

watching prison break the other night they said the elec chair makes you incontinent. So does that mean that mace windu pooped himself right before he went out the window? Or did Luke make a stain on
the death star? maybe DV died of embarasment?

I agree.
An occasional cameo by a character we know helps legitimize the series and gives the universe of the series more depth. In my opinion, you almost have to start with an event or character we know that can lead us into the new characters and settings.

Well if it has Ben in it I hope the series includes Ferus Olin. I'm reading the book series The Last of the Jedi and it includes Ben a little and Ferus in so cool. That's what I'm hoping for. The reason I'm hoping is becouse the book series happens like just a couple of months after Ep.3 and it says he really didn't do anything at all up until that point.

it's weird that we have such black and white opposing opinions on this one - I honestly feel it would cheapen the series rather than legitimise it.

Unless of course it's in the beginning of an episode featuring Vader. That way Vader can kill him at the very beginning of the episode.

What do you guys think Bobs'a going to be doing in the series? Will it show his early days of bounty hunting or will we see him in his prime right off the bat? I hope we see him get some of those Wookiee pelts! Or maybe meeting up with Jabba! This is gonna be sweeeet!

I bet it will have Boba hunting down suspected Jedi survivers maybe...or perhaps GL doesn't want to go down that road. WHo knows?
He's a bounty hunter so he'll be hunting someone.
BUt this show sounds wicked!! I'm so excited. Providing the stupid network is generous and lets us have the series at a normal time and not when the whole first season has already finished over in the States. Maybe a world wide premiere??
