One thing I hope doesn't happen is recasting of actors for existing characters.... e.g The emporer pops up played by a new person... I hate that

I agree. If they're going to have existing characters (which generally I hope they don't) then wherever possible the old actors should be used. I mean obviously with someone like Peter Cushing, who's dead, then its not possible, but overall the actors we already know should be used for existing parts.
Should Boba Fett appear, should they have Jermey Bulloch or Daniel Logan play him?

technically, shouldn't they have Morrison play him? (assuming BobaFett would be fully grown by the start of any TV show)

Hmmm..... Not sure. If he is like over 30, then yes Morrison should play him. If he is under 30, like anywhere from 18 upwards to 30, I can't see how Morrison would get away with playing a young man, so then I would say Logan would be the best choice. Remember, Boba didn't have any growth acceleration so he would get older the same as any other human.
Then again, if we never see him without the helmet I say bring Bulloch back - Can't beat nostalgia.

Actually, if Boba Fett was to be anywhere around 25-35 then the best choice would probably be Bodie Taylor

Some of the earliest info we got from the live action show was that Daniel Logan was asked by George if he would be interested in reprising his role as Boba. And not too long ago, Logan made a comment in an interview saying that he was eager for the show to start.

Really? I didn't know this. If true it virtually confirms that Boba Fett will be in the series.

Yep. The comments are mentioned in Boba's entry on Wookiepedia. But I would say Boba was confirmed when his mug was on that teaser poster

bare bones?
I choose to think of this as being simplistic in concept rather than the other theory of it being less expensive or cg driven. I personaly believe that GL meant that it would be just lots of crazy fighting and space battles etc rather than being a political, complicated show.
Thats not to say there will be no depth to it just that it will focus on the strengths of star wars. I mean I personally don't want to see a battlestar clone. Although that would be ironic seeing as GL once sued the original BSG makers for copying him!

Wait, do they even have a cast yet? How on Earth can this show suddenly get ready by 2009? That just sounds iffy.

Oh George, your quotes are alway so damn confusing. Personally I wouldn't take anything he says at face value yet.
"Bare bones" is interesting though. But I bet his definition is different than ours. I really like both the narrative style of Heroes and LOST, I think that would be a great way to approach the show. It definitely keeps things very interesting and exciting, and easily allows for multiple cliffhangers and character possibilities.

For "bare bones", I was thinking "gritty".
Maybe it's just because I'm in love with Battlestar Galactica right now (though I'm only on Season 2.5), but I hope the SW live action is kinda like BSG.

George certainly knows how to get people talking, doesn't he?
I have a feeling "bare-bones" is going to mean like of "back to basics" where we see minimal dialouge, lots of action, very little politics, probably a few lightsaber fights, etc....

Sounds plausible. Though they'll have to be some kind of overall story with enough detail to keep people interested for an entire season. Seems as though there has to be a narrative arc over many episodes rather than single, short plot lines.
