Thats a pretty good outline. Though it must be said it could be completely "off" and the series may be something entirely differant. We just don't know yet.
It would be nice to find out, roughly, just what this show will actually be about in the end!

Yeah it should be about a few jedi we haven't seen in the films yet. Oh and we need a few Fett appearances.

They should bring back the man who played Tarkin in Ep III. He should be overseeing the Death Star in the tv show with Vader showing up every now and then.

I thought I read somewhere that GL said the live action series would be more political. If that's the case, then it's definitely possible. Personally, I think like the idea.
FYI - The actor is Wayne Pygram. He played Scorpius in Farscape.

It would be really freaky if they did bring him back and he managed to sound like Peter Cushing. That would be really creapy.

Could they also be tying the Force unleashed into the series though. They both are set during the same time period. It would be cool if we got a Vaders apprentice vs Vos or Fett fight.

Personally I want to see as many new characters as possible. And I don't want to see any EU characters (Or at least a minimal amount of EU characters) because I don't want to see a rehashing of the books on the screen. (not to mention, I didn't really like the direction that EU went.)

I'd expect mostly new characters. And you don't have to worry about rehashing of EU novels, as the live-action TV series is set in the "dark times" between the trilogies, and as of now there are very few novels in that time frame.

I hope he will apear in the series as one of the main characters. It would be nice, if the single episodes changes the audience view. one time from the perspective of an imperial character another time we see a alliance mebers view.

Perhaps this reply will open a new discussion....maybe not 
Instead of looking at specific characters, what about species?
It would be great to have characters that are Mandalorion (like the Fetts) and of the species like Darth Maul (which species its he?). Not Chewbacca but other Wookies, and so on....
Also, not all droids will be eliminated and destroid, so hopefully we will see some more battle droids and henchmen.
