Seriously, its a 100 episode series and we all know how easily Lucas gives into the fans. And the fans have been clamoring for more MAUL for years and years. We also know Lucas claims he had Maul chopped in half to prove that Maul is indeed dead and will stay dead, but again, Lucas is known for changing his statements and giving into fans.
So lets not argue HOW it can happen, there are plenty of in-character ways it could be explained off (the he was cloned, the dark side brought him back, the dead maul was a dark side illusion, etc) but that WILL it happen, do you think?
Being a Darth Maul fan it would be great, IMO if this could happen. heck, there are rumors the series will center on four main characters, (3 of which could very well be Quinlo Vos, Shaak Ti, and Boba Fett). Perhaps one of these could be a very PI**ED OFF Maulster out for revenge against the emperor, vader, the remaining jedi, and basically anything that gets in his way.

I'd imagine the only way it would be possible would be a flashback sequence/episode. And even then I reckon it's very unlikely.

I get the feeling that the live action series is going to "go where no man has gone before" in terms of plot and characters. I highly doubt even someone like Quinlan will make an appearance.
That said, I wouldn't be surprised if there's a Darth Maul-related flashback in the cartoon series.

You know he died right?You know...in Episode I? Anywaise, he was chopped in half, and sith lord or not, you can't survive that. Hell, Ani had a hard time just burning and losing limbs... but chopped in half guarantees death.
I think the shows gonna be more focused on bounty hunters, Imperial officers, Rebel leaders... that kinda stuff....

There was some book or whatever that brought him back and gave him a mechanical half.
Idk, I doubt it, but I wouldn't call it completely out.

^ That book was in the comic Visionaries. That particular story was said to be unofficial in the sense that it didn't actually happen in the course of the Star Wars timeline.
The ending of that one was kind of funny though... Uncle Owen taking on Maul and all.

There's also the Tales story where Maul is resurrected by a dark side cult to challenge Vader for the position as Sidious's apprentice (the cult believed Vader, since he was once a Jedi, should not be the rightful apprentice). They resurrected (or cloned, i forget now) Maul, and Vader and Maul fought it out, with Vader eventually destroying Maul.
And that story is official in Star Wars continuity.
However, i still HIGHLY doubt Maul will be in the TV series. I expect the majority of the characters will either be completelty new characters or very minor ones (the Jedi who escaped in Dark Lord i think have the best chance of appearing).

There is no chance at Maul appearing in the TV show, that would be kind of silly.
If anyone from TPM appears in the show, I hope its Qui-Gon (via force ghost/voice). A cameo would do, and since they would never get Liam to do it they could just use whoever did his voice in the CW cartoon.

My god.. how have I not witnessed this?Vader vs Maul has always been a dream for me.
Where can I find this?

This is why I hate most EU. I hope the show doesn't do anything stupid.
