Aside from Rick's misinformation in the past as G-FETT mentioned, I think it's very likely that what he was referring in terms of new characters was simply just the main characters. We already know the main characters would be all new so he's not saying anything special here. Typical. You guys would do good to just ignore everything this clown says.

Let me ask this question, If the leak by Lucas is right and there will be new SW moive ('s) made. Is it possible that this t.v. series could be a bridge to those movies? Meaning it seems like the new SW movies are going to be about the "Old Rep." Is it possible that this could be a set up series?
Or am I just thinking way to deep?

There was no leak and theres not going to be any more movies. It was just a crazy rumour that did the rounds at CIV.

Anyone have any guess if there will be Bounty Hunters on the show? I like to think so. But, if so who?
Jango? He was a bit battle tested in AOTC.
Arura Sing? She did nothing for me in TPM so this could be a chance to give her a backround and make her more than a 2-3 second shot in a movie.
Thoughts?

You know, I actually don't midn the idea of introducing all new characters to the SW universe for this TV series. Even if there are no cameos by old characters, as long as names are brough tup in conversations or events that are taking place around the galaxy would be great! You know, drop a name here or there, letting us know whats going on at that paticular time in other parts of the galaxy with characters we know, even if the main story of the series doesn't focus on them but on the new characters.
I am sure whatever the new series turns out to be, it will be a little bit of everythign for us. I'm sure GL wouldn't deliever us all soemthing like this and not try and make ever fan boy a little happy. It'll makes tons of money whatever he does honestly, lol.
