Yeah it's probably the show he's talking about. Anyway, I hope all the live action episodes are one hour.
And the creator of Jar Jar Binks says Spider-Man 3 is silly but Ep I isn't?
Uncle George sure knows how to get a good laugh.

Theres a LOT of hidden depth to Episode I, IMO.

I don't know if your kidding or not and it is OT but I actually do believe that. Tons of hidden depth, but that doesn't stop a film from having many silly aspects.

Episode I is all about foreshadowing but it's supposed to be light for the children. Episode I is all about the sensing the fall of the Republic and Jedi, and not having any idea how to prevent it.
Then theres Jar Jar and Whoopee Anakin lightening the mood so that it's not a completely depressing movie.

Could that be the reason why the first Matrix movie, which made half of what Episode 1 made was considered a much better movie than Episode 1? Heck, even the academy awards gave it an oscar, and what did JarJar and the rest got?.........The Shaft!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Why would someone say something bad about a film that their company took part in.
That's my point. Kind of funny that he bad-mouthed the only major film this summer that he doesn't get any $ from. Somthing tells me if ILM had been involved with Spidey3, GL would have praised how great the film is.

I say good on him. Spidey 3 was ridiculously silly and for all their faults I thought each of the prequels dumped on it. Spidey 1 and 2 were much better.
