This is exactly what was going through my mind as I watched. Not that I don't enjoy the PT, I do, but I definitely found myself wishing this stuff had been included.
At least its giving us something interesting to see after the movies, though.

Here's a quick question(s):
Does the new Clone Wars T.V. show wipe the previous one
from continuity? I really hope not, as the first Clone Wars show
was an animated gem.
And secondly, does anyone feel that the Clone Wars were
pretty much.....covered already?
Its fine to show them and everything, but is
the story of the Clone Wars really that interesting to visit again and again?

Does anybody have a Quicktime version of it?
I can't see it for some reason. It stops after only 15 seconds or something.

Well what was said at the Celebration IV panel was that Grievous will have his cough and Mace Windu and other characters won't be such superheroes wiping out whole armies of droids with their bare hands. The characters abilities will be more plausible.

First time poster. Decided to register having seen the clone wars trailer. It was so awesome I just wanna talk about it!!!!
I have to say it blew me away. Looks like its gonna be all action with a bit of a dark side to it.
I love that Asajj is gonna feature - the force choking of the clone was brilliant. Nice to see Grievous too, hopefully he will be a bit more intimidating than his cowardly character in ROTS.
I really cant wait for this to start. I was a bit sceptical about it but if the trailer is anything to go by it is gonna kick ass. Bring on 2008.

That is in fact Dooku. The only downside to this trailer is the quality of the human faces, but like the CW cartoon, I'm sure once we get used to the animation style it wont be an issue.
