Clone Wars presentation at the CE was great.  It was good to see the progress of things and especially the trailer, a treat in the end. I was pleasantly surprised to see that the series will have more flying battles than Tartakovsky's CW and it was also good to hear that it will be more focused on the characters. The only thing that I'm not really happy about is the way the characters are drawn...or should I say designed. The first CW cartoons had this funny look, kind of. This is supposed to be more serious, and it is, but the characters do not exactly look like themselves at all. The only one who resembles a movie character is Mace Windu.

This looks incredible.
I am sold. The animation/cgi may not be my forte, (i am in love with the original clone wars cartoons), it does seem to capture the spirit and feel of star wars. Hopefully we some cool things that happened in the EU novels, like Anakins and Assaj's final duel.

Not that I'm aware of. But there is a "realistic" snowbunny Padme statue. I think she looks rather ugly in it, but then again I really don't like the snowbunny suit...

It would, though I'd rather see the New Republic stuff done like that. They could even get Mark to play Luke.
