if Anakin has only been a Knight for around 6 months... that makes him seem even more pretentious in ROTS. He has been a Knight for less than a year and already thinks he deserves to be a Master! lol...
I wonder if they will take creative license with Anakin's hair for the series. In the trailer and the image released, it seems that they are only covering a period after his Knighthood if you go by his look. But six months isn't very much time for a 100 episode series. What do you guys think... will they fudge on anakin's hairstyle just so they can make him look cooler for the series?
One clue might be that they said Obi-wan would slowly de-armor and the clones would move to phase 2 armor. So maybe the images in the trailer just deal with one period of time from the series.

And of course Anakin could have grown his hair out slughtly, cut it back again during the war and then finally grow it all the way out after his knightbood. Three years of war leaves room for a little fluctuation.

Because he wasn't wearing it in ROTS
I think it was said somewhere Jedi don't use armor because the Force is essentially their armor, but perhaps the Jedi eventually discouraged a militarized appearance and returned to more Jedi-like appearances with only robes. Maybe it also worked as a symbol for their troops- leading from the front lines without any armor.

Well, it appears that Obi-Wan's robes grow dingier and more faded with every successive movie. This could lead one to believe he doesn't wash them regularly. It could lead others to believe that those pristine white duds he was sporting in TPM were the same brown things he had on in ANH.
If he treated his armor in this same manner... well, I'm suspecting Alpha or Fordo or whoever happened to be the ARC-of-the-Day threated to shove him off a gunship one day if he didn't take it off.

ha ha! could be, could be. I am thinking it is more likely that Obi-wan, in ROTS did not really have an opportunity to fight using armor.
The only time he was leading troops was at utapau, and since he came in there covertly in search of Grievous frist before the huge battle, showing up in his armor ready for a fight would have looked conspicuous, to say the least.
Another example would be one the Invisible Hand. I guess that situation could have called for armor, but he flew himself there in a starfighter. I don't think that is very armor-conducive.
So, MAYBE, he doesn't really "de-armor" as we have started calling it, lol. Maybe in ROTS, the situation doesn't really call for armor.

Thats right. He doesn't need armour during ROTS. He is never in a situation when he has to wear them.

Youi know, what they should do is really debunk the first stuff and ....okay maybe put all that stuff as secondary, and with the new toons really tell the story of what happended after AOTC all the way up to ROTS, to include the special arcs that found GG. Now that could work. With a series of comic books and novels, it could give justice to the clone wars. Cause lets face it, the stuff that came out first was all discombobulated. The jedi's went from being superpowered to sword swinging samurai's that were getting creamed by the imperial army. Now we could get stories consistent with GL's vision and the movies.

Well for one, the clone wars can be told the way it was intended to happen. In one cohesive storyline that has a beging ing all the way to the end.

Yes. I never took the CW cartoons too seriously. And even less now that a new, real series is coming out that will feel more like the SW movies and not like a Saturday morning kids cartoon with superman Mace and all that OTT stuff. Don't be surprised if THE Clone Wars TV series steps on ground covered by the cartoon shorts. Call it an upgrade if you will.
