Alright, I know, I know. Clone Wars is olllld news.
But I was just watching the chapter of Anakins "trial" in volume 2. When he goes in to destroy the big machine that is mutating the villagers.. I had a thought. This reminded me of Anakin's quote in TPM. Where he says he had a dream he came back and freed at the slaves. It may not be Tatooine but metaphorically Anakin freed the men of being enslaved.
It's been too long since I watched CW..

Or you can take it as the beast that is freed of their machine implants returns home and to his family, much like Vader in ROTJ, the child is the first to approach the figure that was his father, which directly mirrors Luke with Anakin. I can't remember what they're called.

I think thats too much of a stretch. In TPM Anakin is talking about the people of Tattoine and specifically his mother.

I don't know, I'm not even saying thats what the intention of the scene is. I just noticed and though Anakin needed a little congratulations, cause maybe it's not the slaves and his mom on tatooine, but atleast he finally sleeved some slaves.
