You know what, I might have to agree with you on the cricket thing. I think that baseball is too darn boring. The playoffs are always fun, but it's never been my favorite by a long shot. I've seen some cricket on TV and it's definitely held my attention!
Let's see...it's Tuesday...which means I'm doing pretty well. Or atleast better than Monday. So tomorrow, being one day closer to Friday, I'll probably be doing even better.
How about you, Tyi? How warm is it there? I'm ready for the summer, tired of the subfreezing temperatures!

Haha, I can tell you enjoy your working week. 
I'm doing rather excellent, actually. It's not excessively warm here ... summer technically ends in a couple of days, or has already depending on what date you base the seasons off of. It's been a bit wet here and there; today was nice and pleasant with a bit of rain in the evening. I'll miss summer. I hate it being winter and it being, well ... cold. So I completely understand you!

Has everybody heard about my brush with death? Last night England had an earthquake measuing 5.2 on the Richter scale. I was woken at 1am to the sount of a rumbling earth and a shaking house.

Ya, I heard about it on the news on my way into work today! Glad to see you're still here, G. Did it do much damage to your place?
Tyi, yes, I have seen cricket, but I do not know how to play. Is it true that games have gone on for days? And yes, definitely enjoying my work week....especially since its more than half over now!

What's this? No...? I haven't really heard anything about a dangerous earthquake in the UK! What happened, G? Was anybody hurt?
It is very true, Saber! Cricket is one of - if not the - longest game I know of. Test matches, as they're called, can last up to five days. I have a really funny explanation of cricket here that you may or may not have seen before that I can post if you like. It will *cough* help you to understand how the game is played.

Theres too much RED out there. The whole thing has been kind of "devalued" now. It was OK years ago, when we didn't have many VIP's, but now of course, as the years go by, its not as special as it once was.
Personally, I'd just have competeion winners and game hosts, etc.... Be VIP's and not have ex-mods look red. But I do have some weird ideas.

You have two teams, one out in the field and one in. Each man that's in the side that's in goes out and when he is out he comes in and the next man goes in until he's out. When they are all out the side that's out comes in and the side that's in goes out, and tries to get those coming in out. Some times you get men still in and not out. When both sides have been in and out - including the not outs; that's the end of the game.

Ya.....sounds great  . Consider me a pro!
I know they use some sort of ball (called the cricket? maybe) and the whip it at some guy who swings some time of paddle. That's about all I know or can remember from when I've seen it. Is there a national cricket team or professional leagues?
I'll have to email my sis and ask her. I'm not sure just because she's been there little less than two months, but I will find out.

Off the top of my head, I honestly don't know why it's called "cricket". Nothing in the game holds that name. Your description does fit what happens though; so nice work! Hahaha.
There's a very, very strong national cricket league in Australia. Playing for first grade (for your State) is exceptionally good. There's not a following like college football or anything like that if you try to compare it to American sport, but they're really good. For instance, we've had an Australian A cricket team in the past beat international teams before. This "A" team was basically made up of all the players that simply didn't fit on our actual team. So second-rate (at that time ).
No worries. So the weekend is upon us all! What plans do we have, hey?
