I've only skimmed through the site briefly, so far. I've saved the address however, to delve into more deeply a bit later. There's a massive job going at work at the moment, though, so I'm getting the most out of it I can and hence don't have much spare time ... that's not spent here.

A lot of nice weather....and some military testing  . All done for now. I head back north tomorrow and so I can actually spend a bit more time here than this week. I haven't been able to open Maya for what seems like ages. I gotta sit down and work on a new project this weekend. I definitely hear you about the free time! Or lack there of.
Any plans for the weekend?

You know what my only problem with Clone Wars is?
The fact that McDonald's is going to do a toy promotion. Why can't it be Taco Bell so I can atleast have something tasty with my lovable ewok plush?!

I hope the trip, and ... military ish ... stuff were beneficial, Saber. I played in a doubles tennis tournament earlier tonight, but other than that it's a pretty normal weekend except for a play/show rehearsal I have on all day Sunday. How about you? What's the weekend looking like?

Haha yeah, Taco Bell still exists. I do miss the commercials with the little dog, though; Yo quiero Taco Bell. Has anyone seen that movie with Morgan Spurlock? I think it's called Supersize Me. Since seeing that movie I have not eaten at McDonalds at all! But you never know who might pick up some of the promotions. Didn't several different companies have similar promotions for the PT?

The SE's had Taco Bell, and TPM had Taco Bell (anyone remember those cup toppers? the Darth Maul one was pretty damn awesome), Pizza Hut, and KFC, RotS had Burger King. AotC didn't get any fast food promotions.

I don't think Taco Bell is down here at all these days. I can't remember any fast food promotions for the films ... I just ... can't remember.
Do you still have a cup topper, Cuppa?
Thanks Saber. The tennis was good, we (it was doubles) won initially and so got into the finals, but then we lost in a fun game in that match. The play I'm involved in is something that a friend is organising. She's an older friend who used to host parties/plays back in the day and is now putting together a party to get everybody back together. They needed a drummer for a skit in the party and then also just to help out on the technical sides of things. I call it a party/play because it's an organised party with skits in it.
I haven't seen Supersize Me. Heard plenty about it, though. Did you see a movie on the weekend then, weather permitting?

I actually remember the Maul one! I don't know where I saw it...I think my friend might have it.
Tyi, congrats on the win! I can't wait until the weather gets nicer here so I can start playing again. How'd the party/play go?
Yes, saw a movie this weekend. We watched Almost Famous. It was better than I thought it was going to be. I'm not a huge fan of the 60s and 70s rock scene, but it was very well done. Not one I'd go out and buy, but I'm definitely glad that I watched it. Did you catch any movies this weekend?

Do you play tennis on occasion, mate? And thanks! The party was just a rehearsal, the big show is in two weeks time.
I've heard some good things about Almost Famous — so it is good, hey? All I saw on the weekend was more episodes of Stargate SG-1, mate.

Wow, I'm definitely get flash backs after seeing all of those. I haven't seen many of those in a LONG time! I hope the stuff they come out with for the Clone Wars will be good enough to collect. We still have some time yet before they hit the big time (or atleast I'm hoping).
