Well there's absolutely nothing wrong with it. It's just when I'm trying to play a videogame, I'm usualy just zoning out and looking for "simple" entertainment. With KOTOR, it seems as though there are so many things to do, accomplish, say, possibilities, etc. I actually wish I could get into those types of games, but they always lose my attention very quickly.

You should look at Oblivion if you think KOTOR's scope and extent is large. Oblivion is insane on the open-ended adventure scale.

So anyway, Brisbane was a lot of fun. I forgot how long it'd been since I'd been on a plane flight. How is everybody doing?

Hey man, I've been incredibly busy the past week. I'll sorta have a slow day....hopefully I can peek in here and there. How was Brisbane? Anything exciting happen? How long is the plane ride from where you're from?
Last time I was on a plane was about three or four weeks ago when I had to go to Florida for work.

I saw somebody whom I hadn't seen for years up in Brisbane. That was more than enough excitement.  It takes just over an hour to fly up there. It's about a 1,000km or so away.
How come you think today might be a slow day? Have you just finished something?

Well it was a bit slow because one of the servers here at work went out. No big deal, just have to wait until the power is restored so I can do more solid modeling. And a couple of my things have been put on hold. Pretty sweet day yesterday.
It's always good to catch up with old friends.

Too true. Friends make life life. That's life with an edge right there.
I watched so many Stargate SG-1 episodes this weekend, it was great. And not only that, when I caught a glimpse of the new Clone Wars trailer late Saturday night it just made the weekend pumped! Plus, I realised that since I have a Wii now, I'll be able to pick up The Force Unleashed later this year when it comes out on next-gen consoles. I saw a video showcasing some lightsaber control on TFU for the Wii, too. Pumped. Seriously, this weekend was full of sci-fi and Star Wars. Now that's something that hasn't happened for far too long.

I'm doing pretty well. I've just gotten into Battlestar myself. I've seen most of the Stargate SG-1 episodes and it's definitely a good show. The new trailer is excellent. I'm even more pumped than I was. Where is this video of showcasing the lightsaber control? I would be interested in seeing this and might motivate me to go out and buy a Wii!.
But...back to work tomorrow. Oh well.

It already is tomorrow here. Ah, the fresh smell of a new week. The Force Unleashed video can be found here — as the name states, it's about the whole experience, but if you look around the 1:30 mark, you'll see the Wii discussed briefly. I would recommend the Wii. And the only games I've ever played on it are Mario related: Soccer, Galaxy and Party.

And another week already went by. Hey, one week closer to August 15th! Not too much going on here. I've heard from a couple of sources that said the early reviews on Iron Man are incredible, saying that it's the best comic book adaptation...period. I'm not holding my breath, but the trailer looks good to me.
What's going on out there?

Nothing much is happening here barring the usual. Although I did help take Yoda on a tour of Sydney the other day. But your comments about Iron Man have me highly interested. That is the film of the moment. I definitely want to see it, but it's not released until May 1st here. "Best comic book adaption" is a bold statement, what with Spider-Man and Batman Begins out there. Here's to hoping! *cheers*

Yes, very. AND sadly, it turns out that they're monitoring what we go to on the internet at work. Not good. As long as I go here infrequently and keep my work up, I don't see a problem with that 
I agree that it is a bold statement! I thought that Batman Begins was the best adaptation to date. It opens here on the 2nd of May, but I guess they had some early showing for some fanboys and the reviews were excellent. Speaking of which, I need to put myself on email alert when the tickets go on sale!

I don't think Batman Begins would have happened without Spider-Man 1. Spider-Man really put the focus on the alter ego "man" and I think Batman, Hulk and Iron Man followed this trend. Spidey also showed that it was okay to make superhero movies, that they could be taken seriously, probably for the first time since Burton's Batman.
Just getting into BSG? I'm so excited for you, it's one of my favorite shows of all time. Please, please, please watch the seasons in order, do not skip anything.

Definitely agreed that Spidey showed it was okay to make the movies since Michael Keaton was Batman.
Yes! BSG is excellent. I was honestly expecting it to be a campy SciFi show (purely by the name) but now I'm almost done the first season. It's hard trying to stay away from seeing spoilers from this season since it's the last one and it's everywhere. And the visual effects are incredibly impressive for a TV series on the SciFi channel. I'll take your advice and watch a season at a time. I hope to watch all of the seasons before the end of this one!

Yeah, avoid all spoilers if you can.
From where the series starts to where it is now has been an incredible journey; many people I guess don't like where it has ended up, but they always do the unexpected.
Also, the beginning and ending of each season are phenomenal.
