In other news, I literally applauded on my couch last night when I watched Alexandre Vinokourov take home a stage win in the mountains in the Tour de France. Amazing man - especially off the back of his previous day's race which put him undoubtedly out of contention.

I'm practicaly as much The2ndQuest as I am Billy, so the Zelda Triforce ensignia seemed the way to go. Plus it doubles as the KDY SW connection, so I get double points if tattoos were a game of scrabble. Which it's not, so I guess I odn't get double points. Since there are none. 
The full eagle version really struck me when I came across it in a Triforce shard chamber in The Wind Waker when I was finishing that game off last summer, and thinking back to middle school, I used to put little Triforces bookending my name on papers, so looking back I actually have a long association with this symbol.
Plus the introduction of the Triforce of Courage in the Zelda II instruction manual was probably about the closest thing to a religious revelation I'm likely to come across (but I bet that applies to a lot of children of the 80's, even if they never realized it ), so it really works on a lot of different levels

Well, I've been away on holiday for the last week, and considering the dreadful summer we're having here, I actually had quite a nice week, with minimal rain.

While we're musing about arm-staining, here's (a very quick'n'dirty pic of) what I've had for 6 years now;
Always wanted tats, just took me years to find something I'd be happy to wear for the rest of my life. That's the only one so far, but I'm always on the lookout

Nice one Blackout- at one point I did consider that symbol (I used to have a patch of the Imperial logo on my jacket sleeve in high school) but in the end I felt the Triforce resonanted better.

And that's exactly what it's about!
I used to work with a guy who had the Autobot symbol on one arm and the Decepticon symbol on the other (on the inside of his forearm too, talk about wearing it on your sleeve!) Needless to say, I was deeply impressed.

That tattoo is sick Blackout.
I've wanted to get the imperial logo on my arm for awhile, but I have a strong paranoia of needles and therefore to actually gather up the guts to get a tattoo is nearly impossible.
