What happens after the CW series?

I know this looking years into the future (which is difficult to see and always in motion), but what do you think will happen after the CW series has run it's course? I could easily see this show going for several years, but there's probably going to be a point when it ends. Then what? I don't think for a second that George did this just for the CW. It would be silly to set all this up and end it once this series is over. Will we go to the original trilogy timeline, or will George lead us in an entirely different area, set hundreds of years away from the movies?
Personally, I could see the OT getting the limelight for a bit. The past 10 years or so has been the PT's time to shine, and rightfully so. It'd be great to see the OT get revitalized. I love all the movies equally, but seeing as Han and Chewie are my two favorites, it would be great to see them on a weekly basis.

We've got a live action series to come. It'll be set between Episode III and IV.

Yeah, I can't wait for that. I was talking specifically about Lucas Animation.

I'd hope for either a KOTOR era cartoon or something from a brand new era. Something Post-Legacy.

If it's another Star Wars thing I'd love a SotE animated movie, but I think what may happen is Lucasfilm Animation either developing a new property or doing something with another property like Indiana Jones.

George isn't going to live forever. He will either give the permission to continue his work on these CG animation shows or not.

KOTOR would be cool. Or maybe something that had Qui Gon and Count Dooku as a Jedi in it. Does anyone else wonder how he was as a Jedi?

A cross between Anakin, Mace and Qui-Gon, would be my best guess! It would eb cool to see something looking at this pairs relationship.

Yes I would be interested to know more of Dooku's history. Maybe the timeline from when he was a jedi, to when he went to the sith. What actions took place, to watch him make the decision, watch as he grows unhappy with the jedi......that would be quite interesting in my eyes...

Agreed, especially if they go with the depiction of Dooku that he was a reasonable man who believed the Republic was corrupt and made the worst decision for some of the right reasons rather than the Episode 3 novel that made him a completely xenophobic snob(though him developing xenophobia after his fall could work.)

For that matter when will this series take place? I guess it kind of has to lead up to the 2nd Volume of Clone Wars since Episode III is immediately following. Do you suppose they may tell some of the comic's or novel's plots?

Well, I think for the most part it's not really going to worry with the Genndy Tartakovsky Clone Wars. I assume that it's starting out fairly early in the war, maybe a year in, based on what we've seen in the trailer (Anakin looks similar to what he does in Ep III, but the clones are wearing Ep II armor). I do recall reading that we'll see the shift from Ep II to Ep III armor. I would bet that some aspects of the comics and novels are touched upon, since the show runner is said to be well versed in the EU.

I find it hard for anything being done after this. I belive that GL will focus on getting out both quality animation and live action stuff with the Clone Wars and the Episode 3 to 4 live action series. They'll be numerous books, comic books and video games and not to mention toys coming out of this stuff. So I don't really see any more development on that angle, except for the comic books and the novels taking the series to anywhere it wants to go.
