Lucas needs to go back to making a Space Opera with strong mythological ties as opposed to a modern allegory on society. As long as he keeps that in mind, I have no problem.

We can all agree on several things, their will be fleet/space action, there will be no super duper jedi can do anything stuff, probably more movie/live action oriented type of action, and most of all could be the seires that takes things from the end of Episode 2 to 3 in a cohesive way. Possibly retelling the leading up to the Battle of Coruscant, ehich I hope happens.

His involvement and excitement is a good thing and it has my hopes up. I think this also gives more credibility to the canon of the series when compared to other EU which is often debated.

I believe there needs to be some sort of continuity on Jedi's powers. It should either be far stretched or down to earth like in the movies. But I don't want yet another level.

I think it's cool that Lucas is involved but I'm also a little apprehensive.
He DID say to them "forget what you've heard" (or was it, "forget what you've been told") in relation to the Jedi after all....

If Lucas wasn't involved, I'd be worried. He created it all. This is the part that connects it all. The Clone Wars are the stuff of legend.

I just hope Lucas allows them to be legendary and is able to craft a story that we all care about. I also hope he doesn't overdo the ominous overtones with Anakin...since we know that he embraces the darkside. I want to see Anakin as the hero of the clone wars. He's the "Hero with no fear" along with "The Negotiator." I really want to see those reputations develop.

I'm exited about George's involvement. I'll view it as a good thing so long as he doesn't go around contradicting huge chunks of the EU.
