Well Rick isnlt always reliable but he always makes the fans excited. But I always assumer we are going to get a sorta underworld look at the Star Wars Universe. IE the world Han Solo lives in. Smugglers, Bounty Hunters, gangsters and the like.

Oh yeah! As the Republic begins to crumble, it creates room for the scoundrels and the like. I don't know of anyone who doesn't like characters like Han, Chewie, Lando, and Boba Fett. I want to be clear that I don't want to see them necessarily, since they would have to be recasts. There are so many possibilities and I'll be happy with anything.

Star Wars without Jedi isn't Star Wars.And if it's true,maybe we still will get Siths,and Padwans.

ah ah Lucas give us us some info about series. Did you notice how he speaks about all the TV shows? It's not innocent. I must admit that G-Fett was right, the series will not focus on Jedi and I'm surprised they (apparently) won't be in  then McCallum confirms it will be based on new bounty hunters, so Boba Fett may not be in either (do not forget about his well-known  syndrome). BHs have always been bad guys in the movies, is it possible to make Starwars stories with bad guys as heroes? Maybe the BH group will only be one of the focus of the series? IMO I can admit there will not be Jedi... but no Rebellion

I am there for the new season of the Clone Wars. But my heart is for that live action show.
To be honest I think that the show will be about everything going on in the galaxy at that time. The Rebel Alliance is getting its roots. The Empire is slowly becoming more tyrannical. Boba Fett also rises in between these two films. I think it will have a lot of things going on with it.

I'm not looking forward to this live action show anymore.I thought this show was gonna be awesome,that we would see no named Jedi being hunted by Vader and Boba Fett.
That we would finally get to see Vader destroy all the Jedi.Without Jedi,without Vader Lucas might as well call this show something else,because it sure isn't Star Wars.

You know I could do without Boba Fett, maybe just give him a couple appearances for sweeps or something. This no jedi thing still concerns me. They can't be that close minded. Ex-force using jedi would still be around for certain. But yes it sounds as though we will have a massive shortage on lightsaber battles, but swords or some such thing could be possible for jedi in hiding. Maybe the whole series will be about a Kowakian Monkey lizard trying to make his way in the galaxy................

I think there will still be limited contact with Jedi in hiding, as well as at least references to Vader and his "reign of terror".
Don't sell Lucas short yet, everyone. You have no idea what the show is going to be like.
If we're talking about pilots, if the show is anything like Battlestar Galactica, it could be amazing. It's not going to be like the Saga, but I think that's the entire point.
Lucas sounds very excited about not being bound by the story of Anakin and Luke Skywalker.

I'm totally looking forwrad to the TV series now. It's going to be raw. It sounds like it'll have a bit of the Episode IV feel to it, if anything. I'm not sure why people would expect a lot of Jedi. By the time of the Clone Wars, the Jedi were stretched really thin and in few numbers. Many were slaughtered at the temple and the early days of the inception of the Empire. In a short time, all would be gone. It makes complete sense this series would focus no the lives affected around the galaxy as the Empire slowly takes away all their freedoms.
