I just watched all of it today at work on YouTube. I thought it was pretty funny. Not a complaint, but I think it followed the script almost too much. It was funny, but when they didn't deviate, it was essentially seeing Star Wars as it is written simply with cartoon characters. Where it deviated was funny. I loved the scene where Leia asked if he was too fat to be a stormtrooper and his reply was excellent.

So if there thinking about making episode 5 because episode 4 got the highest ratings since the show has come back after being cancelled,and if episode 5 get the same ratings we could get all six movies which would be really something.

I found the episode to be OK but not overly funny or extremely boring.

And I think that's because it followed the storyline and script too much. It got funny when, for example, they tried to steal a couch from the trash compactor. That was funny.

That part was funny for the first 5 seconds. Even that got a little boring. Perhaps the Familt Guy has lost its touch. Its humor was SO fast, sharp and witty in the older days, now it's hollow typical T&A, poo-poo, shock stuff.
It just felt too gimmicky, too calculated.
If I had to choose one to get on DVD, it'd be Robot Chicken hands down. It was just way, way, funnier. Family Guy missed the mark over-all. Yes, there were a few funny parts (Red October Standing By), but I found myself thinking "Oh my God, this actually isn't that funny!"
Stuey as Vader was a BIG wasted opportunity.

I guess I'll watch both of these (Family Guy & Robot Chicken).
I honestly don't like Family Guy very much, so I'm going to have low expectations coming in.
I always wished Simpsons or Futurama would have done what they did with FG: Blue Harvest, but oh well.

Who was the guy that appeared during the trippy hyperspace scene?

^^^ Doctor Who (as portrayed by Tom Baker). The music playing was the Doctor Who theme as well. The hyperspace-graphics are similar to the Doctor Who opening.

I'm not sure everyone understood the Blue Harvest title so I noticed that they stopped calling it that and was calling it the Star Wars Episode. I myself had to explain it to my supposed fan sister.

I knew exactly what it meant as the 'secret' title Lucas gave to 'Return of the Jedi' so he could film as much as possible with as few people intruding who shouldn't be there. He had all sorts of 'official' objects produced with that working title on it.

I felt a great disturbance in the force. As if millions of voices suddenly cried out in terror. Then were suddenly silenced. The Saga returns; August 15th 2008.

Let me start by saying I don't really watch Family Guy. Not deliberately, I've seen a few clips here and there, but I'm just never around when it's on. To this end, I'm probably missing a few FG running jokes.
But reading this thread and listening to this week's Forcecast, I can't understand folks being so miffed about the Obi-Wan character. Yeah, it's suggestive, but it's Family Guy - isn't that what they do? (see above disclaimer)
The theme of Ben being a creepy old guy was also used in Thumb Wars - also to great effect. If anything, I was more surprised by the 'penis-y' line and Artoo's bag than I was by Obi-Wan's behaviour. I figured Leia's line about keeping the families quiet was a reference to the Michael Jackson allegations a few years back, and the rest was in keeping with that train of thought.
I watched it with my nephew who's twelve and he was cool with it (he's a regular watcher of FG anyway, with his parent's full approval). You know a lot of kids have watched the South Park movie by now, right? There was some talk on the Forcecast about it being on after 9pm but also syndicated thoughout the day. There are far worse things your kids could stumble across on TV, not to mention the internet.
The bottom line is; you're either happy with your kids watching FG or you're not. There's no boobies or foul language in it, what's the beef? Maybe it's a UK thing, but this is fairly tame. As for ruining the innocence of SW, I don't really get that. It's not going to change how you watch ANH, is it? While I'll happily admit that all of the movies have a wonderful sense of innocence about them, I still have three words; Leia's Metal Bikini.
* * *
On a more positive note, I enjoyed it immensly! As I did with Robot Chicken. I'm very picky about SW parodies, but it's usually clear whether they've been made by people who know (and love) the movies, or just people poking fun. This felt like the first one, for sure. I thought the shot-for-shot sequences were quality, and I have to admit to being surprised at the animation standard of those.
Fave lines;
• What if they come in another door?
• Leia trying to make an mpg with Artoo
• Han's comment about believing in the force
• The fat stormtrooper sequence
I'll be well chuffed if they make an ESB version
