What are you EXPECTING in CG and LIVE ACTION SERIES?
|
Since there are endless opportunites in the CG and Live Action shows, what do you think, or what do you want to see happen?
How do you think the story will go?
What sorts of characters do you want to see?
Music?
Will there be a Text Crawl at the beginning of every episode like there were in the movies?
How many seasons can we expect or how many would you like?
What if you could have a part in the series?
Do you have favorite sound effects you want to hear? (seismic charge) (Star Destroyer Energy Beam (ep III))
Will James Earl Jones do the voice for Vader in Live Action show? What if he doesn't?
Discuss and have fun.

In the Clone Wars I'm expecting,
-Some awesome Jedi action
-Fights with just clones and battle droids (no jedi)
-At least one lightsaber duel
-We'll probably see Tatooine.
Live Action,
-Darth Vader to show up in an epsiode or 2
-There be at lease one Jedi show up
-We'll proably see Tatooine, again.

As far as the Live Action series goes, I really haven't got any expectations. I have no idea really, what its going to be like and infact, when I hear guys like McCallum talking about certain aspects of it, its very difficult for me to even "get" what they are talking about.
The Clone Wars is differant. Im expecting a much more standard cartoon experiance with that, all-bet-it darker and more violent and character driven than your standard cartoon.

I expect it to be a hit for the first season then fall into a downward spiral of something horrible. It probably won't even please most fans.

Optimistic, are we? 
I think the show will be great. I mean, most (I know, not all) fans seem to feel that the Prequels got better as they went along (I<II<III). So hopefully, things continue in the LA Star Wars front, and the LA show could be something really great.

I am hopping for it to be a great series but by the time the producers and tv people go for rankings and ratings it will turn into junk. Thier are so many shows that started of great and get worse and worse every year. House is one for example. Hopefully this wont happen.

Don't worry... There are so many Star Wars fans out there that will watch it every day... meaning this series will be a hit. I mean true die hard fans. Why has Star Wars been so successful over three decades? The Fans.

I hope the LAS series will keep to the original concept: "STAR-WARS"

How do you think the story will go?
probably start with anonymous "grey" characters that will turn good or bad depending on the famous characters they meet.
What sorts of characters do you want to see?
I hope it will introduce many new characters and some new criminal organizations. I would like to see more hutts, ugly, uglier and ugliest, hutt worlds, hutt slavery, this kind of stuff. I would like to see grand admirals and crimelords and more than anything I would like to see Inquisitorius doing their horrible job 
seriously I hope Rebellion will play a MAJOR role in the series, but I'm not utterly optimistic

I think we might get a crawl on the first episode, just to set the scene of whats happened from ROTS up to the first episode.

I wonder how each episode will start out though. Hopefully it wont be like some Star Trek crap or battlestar galactica (Dont get me wrong, I like battlestar galactica) it really needs to be origional. HOPEFULLY the first episode erupts into this crazy battle on some strange world that we've never seen or really experienced enough like Mygeeto or Felucia.

I don't know what to expect for the CG series. It's really only the live action one I care about anyway.
I'm expecting a story where there are "Jedi" in hiding.
I'm expecting a lot of talk about the Emperor and Vader, but almost never seeing them.
I'm expecting Boba Fett.
I'm expecting to NOT see Yoda
I'm expecting to NOT see Tatooine.
I'm expecting to see a lot of new planets that were mentioned in the movies but not seen.
I'm expecting to see the Falcon make the Kessel run in less than 12 parsecs. Oh it will be there!!
I'm expecting an amazing show. Yes a lot of people are skeptical, but this is Star Wars! It will be awesome.

I'm expecting new characters and a good time. I don't think people need to worry about it. As long as we get some drama, some action, and maybe even a little romance all tied together with the name star wars on top of it all it will be good. I can't wait for the live action series personally. Whether it will deal with the rebellion or the Empire I don't mind as long as it comes on time. '09 seems so far away.
