HOPEFULLY the first episode erupts into this crazy battle on some strange world that we've never seen or really experienced enough like Mygeeto or Felucia.

It would be intriguing to see more of Mygeeto and Felucia. My distant hope for the Live-Action Series is to see Kessel and Dantooine, as so much mystique has been built around those names.

I hope they have learnt their lesson from Young Indy, and make something popular and not too cryptic for a large audience. the very small fanbase that read every comics and every NJO book is far to be enough to make this show a success. Lucasfilm should target a broader audience, even if its stories may contradict the EU

as mentioned, a crawl on the first episode to set the scene would be nice but after that not necessary, i would like each to start with space or a planet and zoom into the details of the story like the movies do

For the LAS, I'm definitely expecting Daniel Logan to play Boba Fett especially considering the rumors that have been floating around.

I'm also expecting to see SOME Jedi, despite what GL has said about it. What's Star Wars without ANY Jedi? Come on George....just one!

I'd like the LAS to have original storytelling, and not an exact copy-paste from the movies, with a Luke Skywalker, a Han Solo and a Leia Organa fighting a Darth Vader. make it in the way of the original serials, when every new episode has a bit of news and revelations (in the spirit of desperate housewives & lost) and end with a cliffhanger that make you want to see the next one. example, an evil inquisitor is revealed to have been a jedi who was captured after the war and corrupted by others inquisitors, and as the story go he will realize that the Empire is the true evil and secretly join the Alliance to fight the enemy from within. you see, a dynamic storyline, where everything can happen. they did it well with Locke and others in Lost. I think people are ready to see more complex storyline, even in Starwars.

I'm expecting some sort of the grittiness of A New Hope, the upgraded CGI from Revenge of the Sith where it is part of the story and not showcased like Jar Jar was in The Phantom Menace, and the pace, flow, and structure of the Young Indiana Jones series.

I'm expecting the tone and form of the Indy tv series. Too much history, some action, a lot of new stuff but stuff we don't expect. I don't forsee jedi in their, and the like. I see maybe low level rebels fighting against the might of the empire, but in now way its going to be galactic. I for see this senario: Imperial soilder has a family, needs to evalutate his choice, rebel soilder discovers hope in a probable new tomorrow, bounty hunter is hunted becuase his secret is brought out. Empire wants to control planet, Governer can't stand by and allow this to happen. The death star plans may be once again stolen. We will see more of the creation of the death star. One force sensitive untrianed person joins the Alliance, kills some Imps and die's a noble death. Can't foreshadow Luke too much

Rick McCallum has said on numerous occasions, and so has Uncle George, that a good indication for the flow and look is the Indy TV series. That's where they first started tooling with replication and CGI. I guess it's where battledroids and Jar-Jar were born. What he was also getting at is that it will be gritty and character-driven.

For the Clone Wars I'm expecting a fun, action-packed, darker, longer version of the 'Clone War Mini-Series' with better versions of the animated characters, and from what Ive seen thus far it has that. I like the 3-D thing they went with a lot.

I have high expectations for the LAS. Like most others I expect to see Boba Fett and his early adventures that'll shape him into the Bounty Hunter we see in the OT. Besides that I'm looking forward to seeing new characters, maybe some familiar ones, more on the Death Star and its construction, and to see the transition the GFFA goes through from that new looking future into the old/beat-up looking future.

I'd love to see Vader killing a few Jedi here and there, but...yeah. Who knows.

My first disk of Young Indy came in from Netflix and I got to watch it the other day. I was very impressed with the production value of the show. My only concern is that it won't have the same epic feel of the movies, but that's just a minor qualm and I could certainly be proven wrong.

Well for The Clone Wars, I expect to see a lot of cool action scenes, a lot of cool new characters, and getting to better know the old characters. I really, really hope that the series will be filled with music from all six Star wars films, especially the prequel trilogy, though I would love to hear some new stuff written just for this series by John Williams. I would really like to hear him further develop the music themes, and especially ones such as General Grievous' theme, which was only briefly played in ROTS. As Grievous is my all-time favorite Star wars character, I hope to see him in many episodes, and really can't wait to hear Matthew Wood returning to provide his voice.

As far as live acting goes, I have no idea whatsoever, as long as it has good effects and a good plot.

I agree. I think we'll see Jedi. They may not draw, or even carry, lightsabers, but they will be presented in such a way as to indicate that they are clearly Jedi.

There are so many Star Wars fans out there that will watch it every day... meaning this series will be a hit. I mean true die hard fans.

Are you talking about fans who will watch the TV series regardless of quality - the way diehard Star Trek fans watched the first motion picture? I'm not sure if that's a good thing. worried

I expect it will come out in Japan two months after the rest of the world. [face_still_bitter_at_the_RotS_"international"_release_date]

To continue my unrelenting cynicism:

I expect it will be written for television by writers who have been Star Wars fans since they were kids.

I expect there will be flame wars erupting all over the Internet about whether or not this truly is Star Wars.

I expect the Literature forum will require a National Retcon Month, if not two.

I expect to be disappointed because, despite my indifferent attitude toward the shows, I will still hope for the best.

I expect Trekkies will have the last laugh.
