Apparently theres going to be a Star Wars Convention in Germany March 21st-23rd. Amongst other guest's attening, will be Rick McCallum and Daniel Logan. Anyone think this *may* be where they announce Daniel will be in the TV series?

It does seem like it's got to be more than a coincidence.

Boba Fett is no surprise, his part was hinted since last year convention. He will probably be the main bad guy of the series, since I can't imagine him as a hero. I still hope for Inquisitorius, though, since it was hinted by padmé in EP3 maybe we'll see inquisitors play at least a small part. plus having inquisitors is the only realistic way to have lightsaber duels in the LAS.
without the Force there is no Starwars, even Lucas can not turn around that.

So has Logan turned out to be the right height (1.79m iirc) now he's older? It'll be pretty embarrasing to have to retcon why a genetically unaltered clone isn't the same height as his old man and an entire army, not to mention his older self in the OT

I'm not sure about that- ANH was pretty force-light- SW can work effectively enough focusing on normal characters without Jedi and Sith running around.

I'm back on the band wagon after a lengthy hibernation following the release on Ep3. So excited for the new LAS to start. It's hard to see how they'll make 100 episodes about a bad guy (Boba) and expect the audience to care about him. We'll have to be convinced that he has some good qualities. I'd hope they focus the series around the new rebellion and have Boba as the recurring evil dude.

Well it seems that this series will be more anthology based than serial (like Battlestar Galactica or Lost). Also, it seems like the "bounty hunters" in Star Wars are more or less mercenaries, so maybe Boba's not all that bad... just bad when he's around Obi-Wan or Han Solo.

I definatly think we'll see Boba more like Jango Fett, rather than an out and out evil guy. I mean, Boba is really a character of his upbringing. Here's a kid that was orphaned at the age of 10 and watched his father killed? He became a survivor. I definatly think we'll see a sympathetic side to Boba Fett in this series, even though, of course, he will be a ruthless Bounty Hunter as well.

What makes me wonder how successful they'll be is that Boba disintegrates some of his bounties so I don't know how sympathetic he'll be.

All depends on who his bounties are, and who's offering the bounty

I was wondering if it will be Daniel Logan. I know he spoke about it awhile back and was confident he'd be in it. On the other hand, he's not looking like the young adult versions of him in AotC. In fact, his face and build are completely different. I'd also like to know how much more we'll see of the Wookiees and whether we'll see them being taken into slavery by the Empire.

I'd definatly like to see the Wookiee's taken into slavery. And not just them, but other species, too. This could all be connected to the Bounty Hunters as well, of course. Its definatly an aspect that should be explored.

If they do the bounty hunter thing, I hope they write it like The Good, The Bad, and The Ugly. Where the major events are in the back drop and the hunters just so happened to be paasing through or stuck in the middle.

Yeah the enslavement of the Wookiees would be a good thing IMO. We got a quick glimpse of it during a scene in Revenge and I think seeing it on a broader scale would be nice.
