I am trying to determine how sarcastic the initial post is. tongue I do think that Obi-wan Kenobi is a fascinating character and that his time during the 20 year interim between Episode III and IV could be interesting to explore. That assumes that he had adventures or whether he just slowly became a pathological liar. There is a lot of potential for Kenob during this period of time since he is the prime and moving force in young Luke's life.

I agree. If it was done right a show about Obi-wan between Eps.III and IV could be interesting. I think you'd have to expand the scope beyond Obi-wan serving as Luke's guardian though. After all, Obi-wan is a Jedi Master. He's not going to just sit it a cave and meditate for 20 years. He'll have run ins with smugglers, slavers and bounty hunters. He may even go off-world when the situation calls for it.

This idea is interesting, but it's strongly implied/suggested in Episode III and ANH that Obi-wan did stay in the Tattoine desert during that 20 years, to observe and ultimately help Luke. He's described in ANH as "a strange old hermit", and I would be surprised if he spent these 20 years having adventures, going off-world, etc.
However, in ANH it is obvious that he's been to Mos Eisley before (especially the cantina) and knew that pilots hang out there, so maybe he had been off-world at some point during that time.
