Where'd you hear that about Ewan? Well, there's always been rumors that Ewan himself has discounted. I just meant I really couldn't see him be bothered to record his voice for an animated TCW series - he did a fantastic job as Obi-Wan, and like Sir Alec, I'm sure he wants to move on. Pabs - I think it's pretty amusing that people would finish the work for a project without having had a contract finalized. 	He just doesn't want to do SW forever and be anymore typecast than SW made him. He was not a blockbuster mainstream guy. But he's got nothing but love for Baron Papanoida.

	I read in a magazine, I believe, that Ewan said he wanted to move on with SW. He thought that people were recognizing him solely as Obi Wan Kenobi and not Ewan McGregor- actor. He also said that SW was not his best work. I just think Ewan's done with SW completely. 	Yes, he said that. He loves Lucas and the franchise. Like Harrison Ford and others, he wanted to distance himself far away from it or be cursed by always being associated with Obi-Wan.

	He was critical of the storylines here and there, especially in TPM. That was his opinion. But he loved George and the franchise.

	I thought Ewan's main criticism of the PT related to the story and that those criticism still didn't dampen his love for the saga as a whole. Just watch the behind the scenes documentary for Episode One to see how stoked Ewan was during the duel with Darth Maul. 	I know he hated the title for Attack of the Clones. He was all over TV saying that. I remembered making a joke about it that it sounded like Attack of the Clowns.

	In fairness to the comment above, in that same documentary he has a sarcastic comment where he says "todays the last day of principal photography....one tear" which gives a slightly different impression. I'm not sure how he felt about it. And by the way, all of the bonus features on all of the DVDs are excellent. I've probably watched them as many times as I've seen the movies. They really do give you a behind the scenes look as to how the films were made. -----signature----- Fanboys FINALLY in February!

	I don't get it though, sure some of his work is really deep and artsy but then theres movies like moulin rouge- which don't get me wrong, I love, but it kinda makes him seem really pansy in the movie. Ewan is a great actor, but he gives off the impression he loves his ego [remember the quote where he said something along the lines of "putting his REAL lightsaber out onto the table."] So you'd think he would be getting mad props from not only the artsty films, the love comedy films but a huge population of SW fans too. -----signature----- 'You don't know the Power of the Darkside!'-Darth Vader

	I don't see how you can be an actor and not have a big ego. I would imagine a lot of the actors and actresses go into the business for the love of thespian pursuits. But I would imagine the rest go into it for the hopes of big money, lavish lifestyles, and being famous. You can't achieve that without self-importance.
