But the guy who did Anakin in 2D Cw was probably alot worse then Hayden could ever be. Hayden doing the voice will give it alittle more realism where if you watch the clone wars and then ROTS, it won't seem like two completely different people.
Some of the scenes we've been lucky enough to see with Anakin speaking actually do sound like Hayden- when we got that behind the battles or w/e it was called and Anakin spoke "We won't be able to help you" I could've sworn it was Hayden, same with the scene "Fall back!" he says to Ahsoka in one of the other videos. But then theres scenes where Ahsoka is introduced to Anakin and it sounds nothing like him. My theory- Lucas is having fun confusing us all.

I agree completly. It's just strange we have gotten no official announcement. No "hey guess what guys, SLJ and Christopher Lee are coming back" Why hold off on this news if most people are already aware that they are coming back? It feels like they are holding something from us. Perhaps Celebration Japan or SDCC will shed some light.
if you really want to to start conspire about things. Look at it this way, all of the scenes that don't sound like Hayden we have been being previewed since last May. The scene you mentioned with We won't be able to help you was only shown in that one video, not in a trailer and not in the preview from CIV.

So, when I went to the official site and heard Obi-wan talking to Anakin, I realized that Obi-wan is not voiced by Ewan McGregor. Or, at least, it didn't sound too much like him.

Nah, but if it is still James Taylor Arnold, he's doing a better job of sounding like Ewan.

I never really thought it was Ewan. James Taylor Arnold does a believeable impersonation, but theres still things here and there when you can pick up that he's trying too hard to fake Ewan's accent. Only Ewan can be Ewan 100%, though, JTA is about 98%

To be fair, he's gotten better at it. Go back and listen to him in the old Clone Wars game, he sounds like he's doing a parody of Ewan.
But I'm still baffled that so many people thought his line in the trailer sounded like Ewan.

Oh it's not doubt he has gotten much better, but like I said only Ewan can really be Ewan. Anyone whose mastered impersonations, sure they may be believeable but they are hardly ever 100% accurate.

Well the line in the trailer definitely did sound like him. It was only a few words which would make it easier to sound like him. Either way, James Taylor Arnold does a believable impression where its easy to look past the slight differences.

I agree that his Obi-Wan has gotten better and btw that's not him the Clone Wars video game it's another guy.
The worst Obi impression ive heard is the one in the Obi-Wan game now that sounds nothing like Ewan lol.

That post on the home page is very interesting about Matt Wood not being able to comment on that. I'm beginning to think that there could be some big news from Lucasfilm at Comic Con. They did a good job last year with all the Indy news.

I dunno, sounds to me like Wood was just having fun. We already know he's Grievous. If Hayden and Ewan were in it, I don't think they'd go through the trouble of keeping their sound-alikes in the trailer and the official site.
Glad to know who's responsible for the horrible, horrible droid voices, though.

I agree with the guy that went to SW Weekends. It just seems weird that they wouldn't say anything.

Well Lucas always has really tight disclosure terms, and usually what we do get is just hearing it through the grapevine. I don't know why he'd ask Amy Allen though, she never got to speak throughout the whole PT. I'm sure Aayla will be in the series, but the voice actor won't really matter.
I think it's weird that they can't comment on anything, though. I mean, if he wasn't doing Grievous why couldn't he just say he wasn't? It's not like automatically he'd have to tell us who IS doing it. Something is out of place here.
