The first 3 or 4 episodes of the new Clone Wars Tv series will be edited together into a feature-length film for theatrical distribution in Aug. Then the series proper will debut in the fall on TV.

See what I'm wondering is if the CW will be original 15 minute shorts, or if it will be the standard half hour.
As pumped as I am for the theatre release, it's a confusing move on Lucas's part. Maybe if all were released in theatre, or even just the first episode- maybe a special hour length. But to have the first 3 or 4 in theatre for promotion and then to have the rest on SS. It's going to suck in Canada because we might get the theatre release but we don't get Cartoon Network up here. So unless Teletoon picks it up, we'll be seeing the first few in theatres then waiting a few months to see the rest..

The episodes will be full 30 min with commercials.
