Nothing excites me more than seeing that "A long time ago..." title card on the big screen again.
Do you think Clone Wars will have it?
It would be interesting to see without the 20th Century Fox logo considering Warner Bros. is releasing it. Or so I've heard.

I've been wondering the same thing. I've heard one of the people working on the show say that each episode will have a lesson or a moral to the story, so it might make sense to have a quick little opening crawl (like maybe one sentence/ paragraph instead of the three). Then of course, we would also need the shot of it panning over to a ship flying by and thus, the start of that episode's story.
I'd love to see it that way. It seems so epic and such a part of what makes Star Wars, well, Star Wars. I would at least expect this for each season opener and most certainly for the film. This isn't your average show and it's a nice way to quickly get the (casual) audience up to speed on the individual episode.

I'm sure the theatrical release will have "A Long Time Ago In a Galaxy Far, Far, Away..." but I doubt that each episode will.

I'm just hoping that the movie will have it. I would like each episode, but I'm mostly concerned with the theatrical release.

Though I'm no Lucas insider, I'm 99.9% sure the theatrical release will have it. It would be insulting to have big screen SW without the famous "long time ago" line and the opening crawl. That's a must.
For the small screen continuation? Not sure, I wouldn't be suprised if it didn't. It probably would have something similar to the CW shorts. However I'd like it if it did have it none the less.

What if the opening crawl turned into a "previously" crawl?
As in: "A Long Time Ago In a Galaxy Far, Far, Away ... Previously on The Clone Wars ... Anakin has fought this, done this, ate a lamington, etc etc, which brings us to this point"

and just describing all the different things happening on all the different worlds, possibly ones featured in the episode.

Hmmm...this is an interesting topic because I feel it could get a bit repetative. I don't know if they would summarize the upcoming show or, as Tyi said above, do a summary of the previous show. I think that could be interesting.
Though, I do think this topic should be related to both the LA and CW3D...
