Anakin's apprentice

Has there been said anything on how it will be explained why we've never heard of Anakin's apprentice before? Now, we all know the reason she wasn't mentioned in any previous Clone Wars material (comics, cartoons, books and so on), because GL hadn't thought her up yet. But will this be a case where there will be a lot of retconning going on? Or will it fit?
What do you think?

I don't know why -but i find the idea of anakin having an apprentice as very stupid... No offence your topic mate!
She could have just been a fellow jedi.

This so-called apprentice actually has some EU precedent. In the Clone Wars novels and comics many of the Padawans who lost their masters were informally adopted by more experienced Knights and Masters until their final disposition could be decided. At one point during the Clone Wars Obi-Wan was a P.O.W and Anakin was taken in by Ki-Adi Mundi. I'm sure this is much the same situation. This Padawan's master is probably killed during a battle and Anakin takes her under his wing. I wouldn't be surprised if at the end he requests she be made his Padawan and he gets turned down flat causing further resentment and tension between him and the Council that finally comes to a close in RotS.

We're pretty much already discussing this character here
I think the idea is pretty foolish too. We all know Anakin isn't worthy of a padawan, because in many ways he still is one.
