I think it would be cool to have 24 hours of Star Wars to go along with the 24 hour marathon of A Christmas Story.

I don't mind them playing it as a marathon on christmas day, that's cool (and strangly appropriate). It's the marathons the other 364 days of the year that's going to get old.

Thats actually exactly how I feel too. I only watch SW nowadays if I know for sure I can watch it beginning to end. Though I still find myself making the time, when I can. Theres been a few times where I'd be lying in bed sick and thinking "nothing goes better with lazy days in bed then the good old OT. Then I find myself falling asleep during the middle, waking up within the last 10 minutes and feeling extremely ashamed.

I have yet to ever do that marathon. It must be pretty exhausting devoting 14 or so hours to watching tv/movies. Has anybody else done that?

Yes, the marathon is a lot of fun. My friends and I started with TPM. It was a blast.

When I said I was interested in watching all 6 films in a row again, notice at the end I said 'over time'. I could never sit through that many movies.

I've done one Episode a day, but I've never had the time to watch all 6 at once. I was introducing a friend of mine who never saw SW before and I told her "You must watch 4-3" because I just feel wrong watching the Saga 1-6. She saw episode I first though while babysitting a child SW fan, and then I showed her 1,2 and 3.
She has yet to watch the OT, and a part of me feels like I failed.
