I don't know if i wanna congratulate The2ndQuest and Tyi-Maet_Nefer or feel sorry for them. This board is shaping up a bit to be like the old PT boards while the movies were coming out. Is anyone planning for that? The closer these series get, especially the LAS, the more fanboys and girls will be seeping in. Prolly be fun, but prolly be someone's headache as well. Spoiler and non-spoiler boards, anyone?

Of course, this board has about 0.0001% of the traffic that any of the prequel movie boards used to get. I think it would be crazy to divide traffic further by making spoiler and spoiler-free boards.
It doesn't bode well for the theatrical premiere...I have a feeling it's going to flop(my prediction, under 100 million in the US). Both trailers have definitely looked cool, but for whatever reason it just doesn't seem to be grabbing people the way the live-action movies do.
Then again, maybe I'm just freaking out and people the buzz will grow once the trailer is "officially" release in theaters and stuff.

Oh man, The 3SA was some of the best days ever.
Though I love this board, theres alot less of us than those in the CT and PT forums, so it's alot more, personal? I guess thats the right way to describe it. I was also pondering if the board would be split up into a SNA and a SA board, but I'm guessing if they don't want to know, they shouldn't be comming here, eh?
But still, I'm glad to be experiencing such excitement with great SW fans. Just wait till more and more pictures, concept and spoilers come in. It'll be like a big SW bash everyday on this board. I can't wait!

If Cid is from FFII, that's even cooler. 
We're not going to have a non-spoiler board;
(a) we're going to have at least one non-spoiler thread, and
(b) it's a weekly series, so the "spoilers" aren't going to impact the fans as much; and
(c) even if it's a weekly series, it's not like Battlestar Galactica where we have no idea what will happen next.

I agree, this forum really takes me back. I know its slow and all, but once we get closer things will speed up. There is no way that this show will generate as much buzz and traffic as the movies did, but I think if the film is as good as it looks this place will heat up with weekly discussions and anticipation for each weeks episode.
I'm sure things will slow down each summer though, with the lack of new episodes. Still, beats waiting 3 years between each Prequel

We're looking forward to this place livening up! I don't think you're going to see this be exactly like 3SA due to the frequency of releases for the series. It'll be a bit of 3SA mixed in with other forums like Literature, SFAF and Ampitheater (forums that deal with similarly regularly-released material). Should be interesting.

I know it's unrealistic to expect this place to be like 3SA back in the day...but still, I wish more people would post. I check this place multiple times a day! I'm pumped about new Star Wars, even though I'm still really worried about the show/movie sucking.
Is anybody else surprised at the lack of spoilers? They've been working on this show for quite a while. Already working on season 3, from what I understand? You'd think someone would give us some plot details.
So far, all I know is what I learned from the trailer. Jabba's son is kidnapped, jedi are involved, and fighting happens.

The lack of spoilers, even pictures and behind the scene footage really suprises me. I remember pre-ROTS and the 3SA where we'd have a new picture, a spoiler or a behind the scenes every week. We always had stuff pouring in.
But for CW? We got a few pictures, 2 trailers and thats about it. When will it start comming in?

If you think about it compared to other television shows, however, it's not surprising. I mean, how often do you hear spoilers months in advance for a television show that has not even aired once? Did anybody know the plot to Heroes before it suddenly appeared out of nowhere on our screens?

It would be nice to feel like we're back in the 3SA days but for that we would need more spoilers. But I guess having the theatrical trailer leaked one whole month in advance is good enough!

You are forgetting the long lead-time in animated shows versus live-action shows. Live action shows are produced very quickly; they shoot an episode all in one week, and then it's on the air a month or so later.
Plus, Heroes wasn't an established franchise. So of course there were no spoilers--nobody cared enough to leak them. Season 2 probably had a ton more spoilers than season 1.
And my final point is that I don't even need "spoilers" in the sense that I want every surprise ruined and every line of dialogue remembered before the episodes air. I'm just saying you'd think we'd have an episode synopsis by now. With other animated shows like The Simpsons, fans at least know the basic premise behind each episode well before the season starts.
You'd think we would at least just have an episode listing by now. "Episodes 1-4, Anakin saves Jabba's son. Episode 5, Kit Fisto goes on a mission. Episode 6, Yoda learns the true meaning of Christmas." That kind of thing. Nothing too detailed.
