I'm actually a little sad that I was not around the boards around then. But, I'm enjoying the excitement that has hit this board and only hope it grows. Btw, can someone please tell me what 3SA stands for (seeing I wasn't around then)?

3- spoilers allowed.
There was the 3SNA too, which meant 3-spoilers not allowed.
There was the "Spoil me for Episode III" and the "Spoilers free till Episode III"

I believe the term "3SA" (and, 2SA) originated from there originally being a "Prequel Spoilers Allowed" (PSA) forum leading up to TPM's release. Afterwards, PSA became TPM (or TPM was created and had TPM-related threads moved into it, renaming PSA as 2SA, I forget which method occured), and the pattern continued with 3SA, until all three prequel forums were merged back together into the current PT forum.

Yup.
I was one of the mods for 3NS, boy was that fun guarding people from spoilers. And then, of course, we had people that (a) thought any piece of information whatsoever was a spoiler, (b) people that thought anything officially released wasn't a spoiler, and pretty much any other combination.
Fun times, and fun to see how close our speculation was to the final product.
I don't know if there's any stats for post count, but it looks to me like this forum has become much busier in the last month.

I miss the days where each prequel had it's own thread. Now I find the PT forum is too clumped together.
I'm guessing this board will have a good sense of hype going on once we draw into the last month before release. I remember in the 3SA there was a poster who did a weekly chapter on what he thought Revenge of the Sith would be like. It was actually pretty well written and also closely accurate.

I still have sleepless nights and nightmares about moderating 3SA.  There are certain names that will forever be locked in my mind.

I've gotten the vibe around the boards lately. It's partially what inspired me to start posting again. I was around way back in the early PT days before TPM, but abandoned it shortly after the film. I ended up losing my password and e-mail address the password was attached to (just like Cid apparently). It would have been cool to have my old SN, I think it was a '99... but thats the way it goes I guess. Being '01 is still kind of cool.
I am not sure how this film will do in theaters, but I am hoping that there will be some hype that will start to build.

I hear you on that one. I think once the trailer hits theaters (next Friday) this place will get a bit more busy. I too am looking for some hype to build, seeing as a I missed out on the hype of TPM especially.

Possibly, but had TPM been a halfway decent movie it wouldn't have gotten (and still get) as much hate as it did/does.

In some ways I miss 3sa in others I don't. There was alot of redundant threads especially about if Palpatine and Sidious were really the same person or one was a clone of the other.
