GrandWarlord posted: I thought the "walker" going uphill was extremely cool. I'm surprised about Anakin's ship in this series. It looks agile enough, but it's quite a switch from the streamlined fighters he's piloted in his life. The animation in this series is no comparison to the other clone wars. It's so much better this time. It looks like we'll see plenty of lightsaber duels, and various battles, both on the ground and in space. I'm really looking forward to all of it.
Well keep in mind that this ship might, and likely, be just for the movie. It doesn't look too agile and I certainly wouldn't want to be in it if there were a bunch of vulture droids around. Perhaps a ship to take a strike team in? Of course, seeing Anakin tell Rex that they'll have to go on their own kind of kills that theory.

That boxy sideways-B-wing-looking thing? Looks more like a freighter than a fighter. My guess is Anakin and Ahsoka use it to get to Tatooine undercover, to look smuggler-y rather than Jedi-y. (Then again, they're crossing the desert with just R2, but they seem to have a heap of clones with them when they get to Jabba's.)
Jabba's palace seems to be a real no-fly zone, huh? No spaceport... even the VIP's gotta park it at Mos Eisley and rent a speeder, or hoof it if you're a droid.

Hmmm, I too am surprised about Anakin's fighter, even more so because the new Lego set of Anakin's starfighter is a regular-shaped, streamlined, yellow Jedi Starfighter. Does this strike anyone else as odd?

No, they call him 'Commander Skywalker'.
Palpatine makes him a Commander of the fleet in the CW cartoon, but Obiwan is questioning Anakin's maturity.
Anakin becomes a general after his promotion form Padawan to Jedi Knight. while they do not call him General Skywalker in Season two of Clone Wars he is a general prior to Cato Neimodia according to Labryrinth of Evil in which his called General Skywalker throughout. Obi-wan though is still his superior in the military structure as Cody looks to him for comfirmation of orders he recives from Anakin. Bascially Obi-wan is by the last 9 months of the war a three star general and anakin is a two star or a Brigader.
Ah, yes! I read that book. That must have been where I remembered it from.

Yeah Anakin's ship is probably kind of an undercover ship indeed. That would make more sense now that I think about it. Especially the freigher idea. It seems to twist and turn pretty good, don't know about speed though...
As for the palace, I could see I guess Jabba wanting it to be kind of secluded, with no hangar bays...no ships flying in and out to be seen. Less activity going on out there the better...

We saw in another video Anakin's yellow starfighter and Obi-Wan's red one flying alongside one another, so he's not going to be in that ship all too much, I'm guessing.

Yep, we see Obi-Wan's starfighter back in the first sneak peak video of the CW series released last year. When the music starts up we see some epic space battle happening against the purple/pink sky ... Obi-Wan attacks a droid fighter as they fly up to and then across a Star Destroyer's bridge. Beautiful shot. But yes, there's visual confirmation of his starfighter.
Very interesting NidLoc. Thanks!

A clunky-looking ship with some special modifications for maneuverability and speed... sounds familiar, and I like that. Plus it fits Anakin's character.
I really like all the ship designs so far... the fighter squadron Obi-Wan is in, with the three-wing (M-Wing?) Jedi starfighter/B-Wing hybrids... those are nice.

Those fighters you're referring to are called V-19 Torrent Starfighters.

I wonder if that ship is the Twilight? It makes sense that Anakin have a ship he can carry his padawan and Obi-Wan and some clones around in. It kinda looks like a motorhome... I wonder if Spaceballs inspired it! At least it has come cool guns on it.

What is this "Twilight" that you are referring to? I don't believe I am familiar with it.

One of the rumored LEGO sets for later this year is listed as "Twilight" and nobody's seen any leaked images.

He does have a hangar bay for his sail barge and skiffs, but I imagine the weapons emplacements in the smaller towers discourage air traffic

That vertical battle with the AT-TEs looks absolutely insane to say the least. Anybody know what planet that's on?
