Biddybot posted:Also, what exactly was the point of making her a Togruta at all? They've done nothing with that aspect of the character whatsoever. Does anyone have a clue? I'm beginning to suspect that she's only a Togruta because it lets the series get away with presenting us with a young teen-age girl who looks to be heavily made up without actually being so, thereby averting the ire of some parents who might object to her appearance. If true, you can add a certain underhanded sleaziness behind the character's design to my list of why I don't care for Ahsoka (to date).
Master_Starwalker posted:I think that I would have rather seen Ahsoka as a female Jedi Knight who fought alongside Anakin and Obi-Wan in the war than have her as Anakin's Padawan. It would allow for more diversity among the heroes and add a strong female role model(both of which are great) while causing less continuity headaches.
DewbackRider88 posted: She is turning out to be pretty cool for any viewer age or gender, especially the second part of the droid story where she went toe to toe with Grievous, really liked that fight.

And we've seen other Jedi of her age group fighting serious opponents and nobody complained, so..yeah. Anyway, I have my ups and downs with Ahsoka; at times, I think she's pretty funny (trying to get Anakin to like Goldie was gold) at others, I think she's fairly irritating and would just shutup already. I do think she has a crush on teacher, though. Which is fairly amusing; maybe she'll die when Padme flies into a jealous rage and drowns her in the bathtub or something.
