I mean, the show is practically narrated by her, what she learns, morals yada yada. Happiness and butterflies. Hello, this is called the Clone Wars, not the Skip Along and Learn Life Lessons Wars.
I think she was added to even out all the commercials with the boys playing with lightsabers.
