At the end of the Clone Wars TV series, Ventress challenges Dooku for the rank of Sith apprentince in front of Sidious. Dooku defeats her and Sidious urges Dooku to finish the job.

That's the perfect way for Ventress to die.

I'd prefer a redeemed Ventress, or at least one who turned away from the darkside and the war altogether, as per the Clone Wars comics, but that's just me.

Ahsoka redeems her and they get killed by Dooku and Sidious.

The real motive of a dark side user should be power. If she doesn't fight for Sith apprentice title (or at least hint that's her real motive), then her character violates "The Rule of Two".

I thought we had the perfect Ventress death when she dueled Anakin, but what the OP mentioned sounds plausible to me.

I like the idea of Ventress challenging Dooku for his Sith title as it could serve as a twisted homage to RotS and RotJ.

What if Asajj and Grievous have a rivalry against each other? What if Grievous is the one that ends up killing Ventress in the end? It would be interesting and I would definitely want to see that episode. This might just be my mind wandering around but I think it could work. Asajj and Grievous could be rivals when it comes to pleasing Dooku. Asajj could say something to Grievous that makes him angry and so they start fighting. Grievous wins and Dooku just walks off in silence. Just a thought.

You got the right idea shadow555. We need to see Grievous own Ventress and take her out. That would be the best way for her to die!

I'd also prefer they not kill her off. Plenty of ways to defeat a villain and resolve their story without killing them off. Though TCW does seem to be positioning Ventress as a Sith Apprentice candidate more than past versions of the character, so I wouldn't rule it out, but still would prefer a more unexpected resolution to her character.

T2Q, that's an interesting take, but I'd prefer to rather have closure with any character that doesn't show up in ROTS.

Ventress and Ashoka need to die or it just marks ROTS with continuity issues. It's the kind of the same outlook many people had with Padme in the prequels.

Ventress has shown no sign of being interested in redemption.

Let her join Tavion for the "Mercy didn't pan out for her."

You can get closure without killing her. She can willingly choose to go live in exile on a remote planet, or return home among her people, for example.

Now, her story hasn't gotten her to the point where that'd work effectively, but we have 93 episodes left to go wink

Likewise with Ahsoka- she doesn't have to die before ROTS, but her journey with Anakin and Obi-Wan can have concluded by then and have her off on her own or with someone else. Having her either die in Order 66 or become a survivor of Order 66 for future stories/shows (be they animated or live action) becomes another possibility.

*cough*Obsession*cough*

It's already been established in the Dark Horse comics that Ventress fled on a medical frigate after Boz Pity, wanting to get away from the Clone Wars once and for all. I say, if there's a "several years later" episode for The Clone Wars, it should be established Ventress died of old age after becoming the local legend on [Insert Planet]. A fancy restaurant would be built on her grave (a product of her benevolent, odour-based Force Ghost), serving all manner of bald foods (like roasted eggplants).

Yes, I tell this story every time Ventress's death or Force Ghosts are mentioned.

My personal preference for Ventress is that she doesn't die in the series. I enjoy the mystery surrounding her character.

If she must die, perhaps she should discover the identity of Sidious/Palpatine, and die as a need to cover that secret.

I just thought of something. It's quite horrible, but that means theres an even better chance of it happening.

Like the DH comics, Ventress leaves the darkside and the war behind. Mysteriously vanishing.

Ahsoka has to be taken care of by ROTS, because, well, where the hell is she?

The way I see it- Ahsoka follows Ventress. Either to kill her, or to join her.

eh?eeeeehh?
