	Just started checking out the set. It looks like theres an in picture commentary for each episode. So far Ive only watched Ambush, and it looks FRIGGIN GREAT on blu ray. On a side note, I have to say that Ambush is a truly great episode. Yes, it contains some of the more sophomoric droid humor, but what sets it apart for me is the use of the original John Williams score. If I had one wish for this show, it would be for it to use those themes more often. 	GARTH_MAUL posted: Interesting. 7 episodes are presented in director's (extended) cuts but they don't have the original versions? Bizarre. Excluding those horrible, non-anamorphic original trilogy bonus discs that came out a few years ago, none of the feature films are presented in their original versions on DVD so it shouldn't be a surprise. I believe they originally thought the episodes would be longer until 22 minutes was settled on so this was likely a factor. 	Oh, I personally don't really care, it's more of a complete-ist thing. I think 35 bucks for a 3 disc blu-ray set and 64 page booklet is a pretty good value. 	They're also featuring concept art of PLO KOON'S SPACE MASK. Man, this is going to look GORGEOUS! 	The set is amazing, let me just say. On blu ray, these episodes look incredible. The "season 2 preview" is nothing we haven't seen before. Actually, it has far less than some other promos have had. The "Jedi Archive" stuff actually uses shots of Jocasta Nu and the Holocron vault from "Holocron Heist" in its menu interface. Interesting touch. As far as the directors cut episodes go....I've only watched both Malevolence directors cuts and Rookies. What little new scenes there were almost passed by without notice. The biggest "new" scene I noticed was in Rising Malevolence, and involves Obi-Wan realizing that Anakin was going to the Abgregado system. The other added scenes are quite minute. What can be said without a doubt is that the series looks AMAZING on blu ray. And I was wrong previously....there is a featurette for every episode, but no audio commentary. I was very disappointed by this. Anyway, flaws aside, the set is great. -----signature----- "Luminous beings are we, not this crude matter."
