New TCW Web Comics are being posted, now in a new reader (give the pages some time to load-like many large image files on the net, they sometimes display blurry initially, then gradually increase the resolution as the file is loaded).

The first new one up, set between Seasons 1 & 2, is titled "Hunting the Hunters, Part I", picking up right where Hostage Crisis left off, with Bane and co on the run. Kinda plays as a best-of of Season1 deal, with Aayla, Hondo and Florrum factoring into it.

It's also a tie-in to the Gunship Over Florrum flash game, which gives you a bonus page to this comic if you beat the game (bonus page viewable here).

I wondering when there would be a thread about this. tongue

Alama had to be either crazy or stupid to question Bane like that, I'd be happy that I even got paid at all considering Bane could have just killed them all and taken all the money...and Aurra Sing's reactions in the background to Alama's comments was classic! Not to mention Ziro was hilarious too! laugh

Amd is it just me or does Hondo look like Flava Flav in that one panel?...It must be the way they drew his goggles or something. tongue

No, the first episode of Season 2 is supposed to be Cargo Of Doom, or Holocron Heist. I know that is the know of the first two episodes, which is an arc. They will be back to back on the Season 2 opening. At least, that is what I think.

But that webcomic is awesome. Love how it continues right after Hostage Crisis. Alama is such a foolish Weequay.

Well, it said 'Hunting the Hunters, Part 1' so I imagine there will be a webcomic for each hunter...and I'm curious to see where Bane takes the Hutt. And I agree, what a foolish Weequay, Bane should have killed him just for that!

One thing confuses me though about those episode names...I saw the article about that pre-teen book coming out called 'Holocron Heist' and it says it takes place between the events of seasons 1 and 2. Does that mean that 'Cargo of Doom' will be the only eppy we see or will they somehow combine the two into one?

Hunting the Hunters Part 2 is now available at http://starwars.com/clonewars/comic
This time the hunted is Robonino, The hunter is Kit Fisto. The planet is Rodia, so senator Farr is there too.
Again there's a new game - Swamp Station Sweep. And again there's a bonus page if you complete the game with good score. You can see it here.

Guess who's next?

Good gracious me, what is that?! Clone Babies Adventures? Everyone looks like cute toddlers! Even the troopers and battle droids have cuddly oversized heads! Boy, it seems we're getting our "Galactic Heroes" series earlier than we thought....

Plus, the "story" itself seems completely random. One trooper says the droids are modified and like nothing he's ever seens before, yet they fail to show anything particularly different about them. Bad, baaad webcomic.

Awww, but I like Katie Cook's art. =<

But I can see where it wouldn't be to everyone's taste though.

Side note: can't wait for the one with Cad Bane!

That was quite the bizarre webcomic. I don't actually know what happened, to be honest. I didn't realize it was Kit Fisto until a lightsaber came out; I thought it was two children, a Rodian and a Nautolan. I had no idea that was supposed to be Kit because they look less than 5 years old. What's the purpose of these stories anyway? They don't add anything to the story, and it's not like this event's gonna be referenced ever in Season 2. Very weird.

I liked it. It's nice to see some stories inbetween episodes/seasons.

As for the looks of the last one, every artist have their own style. It's great to see different interpretations to the characters and not get stuck to one particular style.

Portraying the characters as toddlers is not a style, it's just a misrepresentation of them. Next someone will draw a comic with the characters played by antropomorphic dogs, and you'll call it a different style.

As an artist m'self, I can tell you that IS a style: it happens to be the one Katie Cook has. Go look at the rest of her work if you haven't already and most of her non-cutesy artwork looks like that.

It's not the first time this stile has been used, why are you all so mad?
