novajoe23 posted:It would not only make sense, but I believe that we will see at least a cameo appearance by Bail Organa, hopefully actually played by Jimmy Smits. Also, I would love to see Garm Bel Iblis in the show, since he's very important in the EU and has never appeared in a live-action setting. But, I don't want them to simply "adapt" or "re-create" some of the things that were already fleshed out in the Force Unleashed. And I don't want Leia to make an appearance, 'cause they'd need another actress and it'd be weird. But I must certainly object to one thing. There is an actual EU. Anything that has the Lucasfilm, LucasBooks, LucasArts, etc. logo on it, is OFFICIAL canon. And although Lucas might not know what all of it is, he still is at least indirectly approving of it by not only having his name on all of these companies but also making MONEY from anyone who buys the material. That's why there is an official canon, which I hope that the LAS improves upon and expands greatly, since the Dark Times is certainly the most un-explored time period that's close to one of the movies. Pre-PT, between movies in the PT, between movies in the OT, and Post-OT have all been fleshed out somewhat nicely (although the Clone Wars is murky at this point), but the time between the two trilogies has a lot of potential.

Which, brings me back to my most "controversial" idea, the inclusion of material from the PT into the series. I know this is hard to swallow, but please hear me out. Wouldn't it be nice to have that scene included in the Star Wars Universe, not all watch the Wookiepedia, deleted scenes or stuff like that. I'm talking about people who enjoy seeing SW, but aren't bigger than life fans like most of you are. Wouldn't it make sence to them?
Gry Sarth posted:But back to your point. I don't think anyone objects to the use of prequel elements in the LAS, we just don't want the prequel itself in the show. The founders of the Rebellion would make a nice addition to the cast, though I doubt they would be the central characters. I just don't wan to see the Rebel Alliance in operation, cause that would break the chronology. I would prefer to see something like a "Corellian Resistance" pop up and be chased away. An "Alderaanian Peace Brigade" try to reason with the Empire and be put in its place, and other stuff like that. And kid Leia making a cameo is fine in my book.
