Some photos of Chief Chirpa. He carries a staff, and wears a belt, headdress, and necklace. His headdress appears to be adorned with teeth, horns, and other bits.

I'll sculpt out this stuff. I've already got the medallion done and have a few teeth or claws or whatever they are done. I'll sculpt a few more, including the beads he seems to have strewn about his headdress. Perhaps Lord_Robert can sculpt horns using the home-made clay.

More Chief Chirpa info:

The aged and wise Chief Chirpa was the leader of the tribe of Ewoks that befriended the Rebel strike team on Endor. After some initial hostility, Chirpa agreed to include the Rebels as part of the tribe. He even devoted his forces in the final battle against the Empire on Endor. Chirpa was gray of fur, and strong of will. On his head, he wore a garland of leaves, teeth, and the horns of great animals he bested in hunting. In his right hand he carried a staff made of the longbone of a flying reptile. In his left sat an iguana, his pet and advisor.

That's cool. Jedi robes aren't tough to make, and there are lots of online tutorials with the patterns for all the parts of the costume. I recently bought a Force FX lightsaber and I can tell you that it is one fun toy.

I've been getting some requests lately to make costumes. Tonight I'll be doing a fitting with a friend for a Leia gown. If anyone needs some local help putting a costume together, feel free to send me a PM or email.

I've always thought it would be a good idea to have a Costume Night at the garrison to help people with their costumes, or show the basics of how to make a certain costume. I've done a lot of research for some costumes, including Leia's white gown from A New Hope and Empire Strikes Back.

A costume-making night would be fun.

Here are a few photos of the Princess Leia dress I made for my friend, Christine. I plan to pick up the materials today to make the belt. It won't be "screen accurate" but it will be fairly close, and not as costly as using leather and metal blanks for the medallions.
