Well, I found my keys (at Zeller's) but I won't be able to make it this week, I have family visiting from out of town.

In the meantime I will pull out my Star Trek movies and have a marathon.

I'm heading out of town for a week so I'll see every one in the new year.
Happy New years!

I maybe a little late Sunday. Work will be very slow because of the weather, unless it's canciled altogether.

I don't think I can be there tonight. I've got a very bad cold, and right now I cannot even swallow because my throat hurts so much. I'm pretty sure no one wants to be exposed to it.

I plan to go tonight to find out the details for the 19th (as I won't be able to come to the meeting on the 18th). If you're going to be late, Lord_Robert, when is a good time to arrive?

It ended up being a meeting of Lord Robert and the new guy (me) - which was great. He got me up to speed on what the group has done and answered all my questions about Monday's event at the Convention Centre. happy

jedidougcdn brought up the point why we have an Imperial Garrison. As it started off as an Imperial garrison there is no point in it being Imperial, so I have shortened the thread name. Also when the weather is nicer we should change the sign. If anyone has ideas for how the new sign should look bring it to the meetings for everyone to see.
I think it would be nice to have the London Rogues logo on it this time.

Just for the benefit of anyone else reading this thread, my comment was that the "Imperial" Garrison seemed like it was a meeting place for Imperials only and that Rebels weren't allowed - sort of like the 501st. I like the idea of just making it generic. Good call.

Maybe we can add a couple Rebel Alliance banners to the room too.

I'll draft up a design or two for a new sign and bring to the meeting on the 25th.

Well it should be something easy to spot and know off hand immediatly.Maybe a split of both Imperial and Rebel symbol? Even a combination of Ancient republic era symbols too with the Sith and Republic symbols may look good.

Here's something I came up with. I went with a B&W layout to keep production costs down if we have this commercially printed. Click on thumbnail to see full size.

That's cool! Could you do anything with the logo that we have? It was made for the group when it first opened. You can see it on the web site http://www.londonrogues.com

As you wish...

I recreated the logo because the one on the website was way too small for print resolution (300 dpi). It's a bit off, I know. If someone has a larger version, let me know.

Also, I got a quote from One Hour Signs for a printed vinyl banner (hemmed and grommeted). This can also be taken to events, and even carried in marches and parades.

6' x 2' $150
8' x 2' $175
10' x 2' $215
