It's ok, we don't bite... much. My first event with the "old" group, I met them at a theatre. It's a lot worse when you are going to a place where there are lots of other people around who are not the people you're meeting for the first time.

We are all very different people who meet together as freinds to socialize and and do things that involve our love for star wars. Many members have very busy or just plain crazy schedules and can't come to every meeting. That's ok, just come out when you can.

Everyone is nervous about their first meeting, It's natural when taking the first step into a much larger world.

don't feel bad, After the first picnic at Springbank it took me most of the summer before I was able to make it to a meeting, I'll be missing the next 2 meetings, so I guess I'll meet you sometime after that

I know for sure that I will not be there this Sunday, as it happens, I'll be spending the night in the Wellend area. I'm not sure about the next Sunday, but I'll try to be there.
