This is one of those community involvment projects.

Monday January 21, 2008 10:00 am. to 3:00 pm. at the Convention Centre.

This is a celebrity lunchen for children with disabilities. Our part will be from 10:00 am. to 12:00. There are two things that we can do; First we can just walk the halls in costume and meet the children or second we can have a display both and the children come to us. This is a warm up to the lunchen with the celebrities that they do.

This is a school day so students need to check with their schools to take the time off.

If you would like to attend or have any suggestions please let me know.

If we do the display I need to make a new one for the Garrison with pictures of our young members in costume.

For an added bonus they will se what they can do to make a donation to the London Rogues.

I'd like to be kept up to date on this... I'd take the day off and make the drive for a cause like this... and I have my new TD armour I'd like to impress the kids with... I am assuming we'd be indoors lol... perhaps you could talk Alex into brining a droid...

Droid building isn't as hard as it sounds... Actually... I'd suggest a Static R5 droid... Alex has a template so you can cut the head out of styrene and assmble it yourself... that's easier then making or obtaining a Dome... and by not making it remote controled you save a lot of money... perhaps even sell the static droid to put towards a remote droid...

but really, this deserves it's own topic...

Here's an up date.

We have to be set up for 9:30 am. at the convention centre. So I'm going for 8:30ish. They have a room for us to change and we can stay and get autographs after the kids do. We can have up to 12 people there. They give away 300 tickets to kids and parents.

I'll be there as Jocasta Nu, unless I get another costume made between now and then (doubtful). I've had Mondays off for the past two years, I don't think that's going to change now.
