event listing for May 2009.

Sat. 02 at 9:00 AM. Free comic book day. we need to all meet up in the same place and do a tour of the comic book stores.

Sat. 02 at 4:00 PM. an in costume walk in Springbank Park to hand out flyers.

Sun. 03 at 6:00 PM. meeting at the garrison.

Sat. 09 at 6:00 AM. Our 3rd annual celebration held in Springbank Park.

Sun. 10 at 6:00 PM. meeting at the garrison. A reminder this is Mother's day.

Sun. 17 at 6:00 PM. meeting at the garrison.

Sat. 23 12:30-5:00 3rd annual star wars event & toy show in Welland ON. http://www.yodascorch.piczo.com/?cr=7

Sun. 24 at 6:00 PM. meeting at the garrison.

Sun. 31 at 6:00 PM. meeting at the garrison First day of Monopoly month.

I found out that LA Mood's is having FM 96 do a live remote from their store on Free Comic Book Day (11 AM to 1 PM). Perhaps we can coordinate our trooping.

Ok
We meet at the garrison at 9:00 AM. Saturday May 2nd. Everyone changes there and we drive to the starting point.

10:00- 12:00 AM Neo Tokyo, Comic Book Collector, World's Away
12:30- 1:00 PM Heroes, L.A.Moods

We should stop in at B.A. Comics after L.A. Moods. There not a member of the association but they gave us almost $100 in prizes each year.

Also can we still do a walk in Springbank Park later in the after noon.

Also my van only holds 5 people.

Count me in. I'll have lots of handouts printed by then too.

FYI there is free parking along Queens Avenue and along the side streets like Elizabeth or English. We could park there and walk to Neo Tokyo, Comic Book Collector, and Worlds Away.

Sunday May 31 starts off a month long monoploy game at the garrison.

Rules:
The winner is who has the most value at the end of June.

If you are not there for 2 weeks in a row. At the start of the game for the second week the empire will seize your proporty and pay you the morgage value of the property. The proporty is then put back on the market to be sold again.

If you are starting late. You get 1000 credits for each day missed.
