OK, I guess I have to 'enlighten' you people to the Electronic innovations of a truely sofisticated & civilised country. (sounds like I may have to buy a few & disrtibute them to the neobarbs around the world, sheesh!)  The Clapper is a sound sensetive devise that you plug into your wall outlet (you DO have electricity there, right? ) You then plug an electronic unit, be it lamp, radio, TV, et. into the Clapper. Whenever you wish to turn the unit on, just clap & the Clapper will turn on/off what you plugged into it. A unique device apparently. I'd have thought at least the Brits would have them.

Makes sense now but what's that got to do with Enji? and you never explained about BAGPUSS!!!
