"Head of Lucasfilm Fan Relations, Steve Sansweet announced "Another first: Celebration Europe, an official Star Wars convention in July 2007 In London at the finest exhibition center, Earls Court. More details soon at starwars.com." As always, stay tuned for the latest news."

It's finally announced. I've known about this for 8 months now but haven't been able to say too much 
I'm disappointed I couldn't break the news myself sooner.
Anyways, this is great not just for London, but for the UK & Europe. At last, a proper Lucasfilm event. I've heard what's in store for us, and if it's true then this one could be better then the LA one 
London is where the smart money is baby, yeah! 
As CR of the London FF, if anyone has any questions, please feel free to ask and I'll do my best to answer them

I can't wait for this one! I'm sure you'll do a great job at getting us all ready for this event Lord Tice! Sorry I pre-empted your post, I just got excited when I saw the news.
Any more info you can give would be VERY welcome!
Most important is any idea on dates and when the tickets will be on sale? I need to get time booked off work for this (as I'm sure many others will as well). Also any idea on probable ticket cost?
Sorry I'm asking so many questions, just so excited by this!

No probs Chris, I knew I shoud have logged on first thing this morning, lol. I may start an offical Q&A thread here though, but it may even have its own forum in the FF section like the C4 forum. But it was also frustrating not to be able to tell people here in Black & White what was going to happen sooner.
I'd love to tell you what guests may be involved but I don't want to get hopes up, so I will resist.
I don't know when the show will take place but it's likely to run for 4-5 days. I'll do my best to find out as much as poss to help everyone plan ahead.
Cost of tickets is unknown and when they will be on sale is also unknown. But everything should be revealed soon I hope, but again I'll see what I can find out.

Oh dear... I need to save even MORE money for next year! I will still be going to C4 (I've been planning a vacation in California anyway), but how on Earth am I going to afford this as well? Hmm, need to get a job.

As soon as the dates are available I'm booking the hotel. We've waiting a long time for this and no way will I be missing it.

Can't wait for this, as Kassy said it'll be great to see everyone again (I really need to get back here more often).
I'm gonna be broke next year... I just pre-ordered Sideshow's Jabba, Salacious Crumb and Jabba's Throne to the tune of about $352 plus tax and p+p! Now I've learnt about this! I thought my SW funds could go down a bit now, but I guess not!
