Really? Well, I saw him in Indianapolis last year, and while that was fun I'm not sure I'm up to queueing in the very cold rain without an umbrella again. It was worth it, mind, but I've never been so cold. Very strange weather in that town.
But I'd like to see Rick, though. Didn't dare at CIII, 'cause he was bound to talk about ROTS, but now it'd be nice.

Hi guys! Oh you're SO LUCKY! A huge SW convention right in your own city?!! Wish I could fly in, crash the party and hang with you lot again.... but saving for TWO big conventions so close together is nigh impossible. Guess we'll just have to trade stories and pics once it's all done.....

No need to stay spoil free now Kee, plus July is likely to be hot so no freaky weather like last time....maybe a dash of rain but it is England after all 
I don't think CE will be the little sister to C4 LA. I hope we'll have plenty of great news to announce for it in the coming months!!

I went to Memorabilia in Birmingham yesterday.
Collectormania had a stand there to promote their upcoming events in October and November (which includes new Superman Brandon Routh doing signings!). Since I knew their group was organising Celebration Europe I asked what she knew about it;
No firm date (at least that she knew), just "July".
They're after the "Big" names - she mentioned Mark Hamill, Ewan McGregor and Samuel Jackson.
They're looking at George Lucas attending, but if he does he probably won't be signing.
Of course none of this is confirmed until it's announced officially and the stars confirm their attendance.
If I get to any of the Collectormania's I'll try and find out more!

Normally its 'has-beens' at the end of their careers that turn up to shows to do signings. Doesn't say much for Routh's career does it? Actually I do agree with Jamie (for once); he was rather good in SR.

Cheers guys, I headed over to the SM forum and found out that it would be G-MEX 2 and that he's only just signed on the dotted line. I will try my best to make the show but I'm not 100% yet, but well worth the trip, plus it's Tim Bolton's and Jase's (EdgeJedi) birthday that weekend too!!
Anyway, back to CE....a small reminder that we have a suggestion thread in the main CE forum , so please let us know what you'd like to see as we hope to meet with the boss man during Empire Day this coming Sept 10th
