Starting from tomrrow i'll be doing my 2 weeks of work experience at a printing place near me. (If you want to know how it goes just say so)

if you know what's good for you...
i started my professional career many years ago following a stint at work experience in the printing trade,specifically silk-screen printing.
whilst it is a nice skill to have,it really has no place in the modern age...
unless you are working on the computer side of things...
but good luck,nonetheless...

Funny old world Jamie, my Dad owned a printed circuit board (PCB) factory and they used silk screens to print the circuit onto copper panels. Very similar to what you did.
At the end of the day, it's work experience, it's not necessarily a career he is going into, and every has different experience of work.

Mine was fun. But exausting. I did it at a company that makes music videos & adverts as a runner. Basicly carry stuff around London. Good fun tho- on a quite day I was nice and close to FP so could pop in there, plus I sat @ a pc when I wanst out so Youtube was godly.
